There is just the cutest couple ever at the museum. They were out in the courtyard kissing and holding hands and just generally being adorable a bit ago, but have now come into the warmth of the museum and are sitting side-by-each on a bench in the dinosaur exhibit. The dinosaur exhibit is everyone's favourite exhibit.

One of them looks a least twenty years older than the other, but both are quite handsome. Of course they're both men. At the moment they aren't doing anything overtly romantic or sexual, just sitting there. You might think they were Just Friends if you weren't the sketchy security guard uploading the CCTV footage from the courtyard onto the Internet. People in Bayfield are weird. Anyway. The older man, a scruffy greying blonde dressed a little bit like Indian Jones, is reading the museum's pamphlet, while the other, a nondescript younger man with a wedding ring, examines his neatly manicured nails. There's no question about his sexual orientation, anyway.

They are Waiting to Meet Someone.

The younger man's name is Lou. He Doesn't Have a Good Feeling About This.

The Someone the most adorable couple ever is waiting for has arrived. Her heeled boots make a tap tap tap as they walk across the floor towards the bench. Varka, Amy, whatever, is reading a pamphlet of her own, and doesn't look up. She sits down on the bench next to Lou and Davi and makes no eye contact.

Varka's boots are black, her slouchy long sleeved shirt is purple, and her trousers (whoa pants) are black corduroy and rather skinny, tucked into her shoes. She looks very young, rather like one of the many uni students who frequent the dinosaur exhibit.

It's time to talk some Secret Code.

"That's a very nice example of the rare of horned greenback dragon, wouldn't you say?" Lou remarks to the woman who's just sat down beside him and who is pretending to very interested in the child care facilities available at the museum. She's also very beautiful and very well dressed. Lou's heart is perhaps beating a little too fast. He can't help it, poor boy.

Varka-Amy looks over, her face betraying nothing but polite interest.

"Oh, yes. Hungarian, isn't it?"

Amy's heart is beating rather quickly too, and it has nothing to do with her "Pigeon tagging arrangement" with the cutest couple ever.

"No, Swiss, I think," Davi interjects. His heart is fluttery and confused. So many beautiful people, so little time. But don't worry, this problem can be solved.

"Oh, you're right." Varka smiles slightly as Davi speaks.

This isn't awkward at all.

"I think there are some Hungarian ones in the Egyptian room," Lou announces. "Perhaps we should go have a look."

Amy nods and smiles all pretty. At Davi. She's Ignoring Lou as much as Possible.

Lou smiles back all pretty but it's probably for Davi too. Lou and Varka are only interested in doing business with each other. The group gets up, all at once, and starts ambling in a lazy, casual manner, towards the Egyptian wing.

"We've secured an adequate number of dog tags," Davi announces.

"Excellent," Varka replies. "How soon can you get them to me?"

"We can arrange a drop-off for tomorrow night," Davi tells her.

"Perfect." Amy inspects her nails as they walk. They're painted a dark red.

"You have my address?"

Davi can just imagine then digging into his skin. It's sending shivers down his spine. Unfortunately Nic, sorry, Lou is having similar thoughts.

"Neutral location," Davi tells her. "McKay?"

Amy's nails are very long. The cutest couple -both of them- know how sharp they feel on skin.

"Sure."

"All right," Davi nods, very seriously. It's clear he's the boss here and Lou who is gay is really just his crony. Slash cabin boy. Moving on. "We'll arrange the details later. When will the dogs be tagged?"

"Hopefully sometime next week. The details are iffy. It depends on temperaments, really."

"Some of those mutts can be quite vicious," Davi agrees, with a disappointed shake of his head. "We understand that. You'll keep us posted on how the training's coming along of course?"

"Of course," Amy smiles again. "You'll hear from me quite often."

This is code, and it's not even code for pigeons. Lou however has cracked it, and is now sort of starting at Varka in sickened horror. That absolute cow.

Amy's caught that look.

"Yes, Mr. Carpenter?"

Her voice has a hardened edge to it.

"Nothing at all, Ms Sidorov,."

Davi's the one examining his nails now. He's got a hangnail and vitamin deficiencies.

Amy now looks rather like she's about to kill him. Which isn't just a look.

Where is museum security when you need them? Oh, right, watching the nose powdering that's going on in the ladies' room, of course. It's Bayfield.

Lou's not sure who to kill. Possibly himself. Davi is fascinated with his hangnail. A storm brews.

The storm brews and then Amy lets the first bolt of lightning crack when she stops abruptly, and punches Nic, sorry, Lou across the face.

"Don't give me that, you complete asshole."

Of course Nic does the sensible thing and punches her back. A mother with several small children looks highly offended by this display of violence.

"Historical recreation," Davi tells her, in his usual drawl. "WWII I think. Not sure who's who."

A trickle of purple blood spills out of Amy's nose.

And another punch.

The security guard has arrived, but he looks kind of confused.

"Guys, really?" Davi sighs. "They're gonna call the cops, quit it."

Oh look security guard. It's that girl from that footage from the hallway at the Sheraton, and there's that guy from the courtyard.

Amy still looks furious, her eyes crackling, but she doesn't punch Nic again, just wipes at the small amount of blood on her face.

"Right, okay. Don't worry sunshine," Davi smirks at the guard, "we're on our way out. Here, have my number," he digs out a business card and gives it to the guy with a wink. "All right kids, recess is over. Take it outside."

Amy gives Nic a furious Look, then walks briskly away in the direction of the exit.
