At first glance San’s eyes appear quite normal, but when one looks closely you can see that the iris- which should be dark- is filled with blood. And unlike most people’s eyes, in which the iris has ridges and shadows, the blood in his are smooth and vibrantly red.

To Summon:

One would need exactly 66 (This number being the ‘master’ number) red candles. Red represents the life force, vitality, power and determination. These candles (which will be placed in a tight circle, all candles touching together) should all be exactly 6 inches long, except one, which will be nine inches.

In a bowl, the caster must place the blood of an enemy (or any other part of one’s enemy), the blood of an innocent, and the blood of the caster him/herself. If the blood of the innocent coincides with the blood of the caster, then that works as well. Same goes for the blood of the enemy and caster, as inner struggles are fights as well.

This blood should then be spilt along the inner line of the candle of circles, reinforcing the blood so that He is carefully bound inside.

When all of this is accomplished, the caster should stand, sit or simply be in front of the nine-inch candle in any way, shape, or form. The caster must then say the following:

“I bear not malice, but call forth the one who walks with it!” Repeat this six times, and on the sixth time, you place your palm over the nine-inch candle’s flame. It does not need to be in the flame, specifically, but simply over it.

To release: Simply say, “You who entered must now walk with war freely”

Personality:

Needless to say that Sanguis is impulsive, decisive, harsh and extremely physical. He is a bloodthirsty and conniving god, because he is war. He is not the ruler of violence or innocent bloodshed- He is violence and bloodshed. He is prone to wide toothy grins full of triumph, even though it seems the battle hasn’t yet begun.

Note: After being physically intimate with someone...Well, anyone, really...He always leaves a mark. Literaly. He licks someone's skin, and for a moment it will sting as if they are being burned, and a dark mark will appear. This mark is a kind of circle with triangular indents, reserved only for those who have been with War. (see)

Standard Appearance:

Sanguis is about 6’0, with tan skin and his godmark blood-red eyes. His hair is such a dark shade of black soot from the battlefield, that under a light it has a blue hue. He is svelte, not overly built, not thin, but a healthy looking youth. He seems to have naturally toned muscles on his wiry frame. His mouth is a bit large, and his teeth are impeccably white.
