Title: Patrol
Description: Intro to the Cops

Paris - January 9, 2004 09:28 PM (GMT)
A police car was parked in front of a independant donut shop. It seemed typical of the old stereotype. If you need a cop run to the nearest donut shop. Nobody's going to rob a donut shop, they should really consider install them near banks. The police car seemed to get a reaction from anyone who past it; hate or respect. Not many people didn't notice a police car, even at night.

Officer Harris sat back in the passenger seat as Officer Banks ate his third old fashion donut. He looked at his elder, his anxiety clearly showing on his face. "Eh Banks. Aren't we suppose to be patrolling?"

Chew. Chew. Swallow. "We are." Came the gruff reply of his parner.

"Doesn't patrolling include... You know... Patrolling? You know like moving around?" Harris raised an eyebrow and looked out the front window. He hoped something illegal would happen out his front window so he could do his job. He didn't like sitting still for more then a second.

Chew. "Sometimes."

"Sometimes? Come on... Why did I have to get stuck with you as a partner?" Harris hunched lower into his seat.

Chew. "Luck."

"So all we do is sit around and eat donuts?" He question received a nod from he partner. "Great. It's a miracle you ain't fat."

Swallow. "High motabulism." Banks finished his donut and reach for another.

Harris looked at Banks' sunglasses. "Why are you wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night?"

Banks turned his head toward his partner. "Prescription." He bit into his donut and faced forward again.

"So, our job is to basically wait until somebody commits a crime in front of our very eyes?"

"Yeap."

Harris flung his arms up in surrender. "Like anything's going to happen around a police car armed with two cops."

"You'd be surprised..." Banks grinned.

(Hello! Stella might get in trouble tonight, she's been dieing to do something like that anyways, annoying person. Hehe. Let's see..)

Stella walked the street, heading towards her contract's apartment, after a day at the amusment park (hehe). Head downwards, she barely noticed what she was passing until the last few moments. 'A donut shop with a police car infront of it?! Oh how lovely!' Were her thoughts and she started over to the car, smirking ever so lightly. Stopping infront of it, she looked towards the donut shop, looking for the police that owned it, but they weren't there. Turning her eyes towards the car, her heart jumped, they were inside of the car! "Damn it." She swore to herself in a mutter. Like they weren't going to notice her, she was right infront of them, maybe, just maybe, if she looked like she was just checking the car out (which was right in away) and passing by, they wouldn't take much notice of her. Lightly biting her lower lip, and taking a last glance of the police car and police in it briefly she started by, trying to act cool, which she was pretty good at, except that she was surprised to find them /in/ the car, not /in/ the shop.

(Not that good..oh well..)

(Ooh, trouble? I'm in.....) Jo walked angrily down the street, barely seen in the dark shadows with her black stretchy pants and huge black hoodie. Her fists with black chipped nail polish, were shoved into her sweatshit pocket, and a studded belt peeked out from the layer of black fabric. Her black skateboard shoes thudded soflty with her footfalls. The easiest way to make her out of the shadows was by her flaming red hair growing just past her shoulders. Growing in tight spirals from root to tip, her hair never did what she wanted. Therefore, it was down a good portion of the time, as it was now.

Her hoodie hid the bright orange shirt she wore, and her bruises that covered her arms took cover from the chilly night air. Emerald eyes glimmered furiously as she stomped down the street, and she sighed. She looked, not at the doughnut shop, but at the fast food resteraunt next to it. She had planned a dinner with her boyfriend, but the asshole dumped her before they got out of the car. You wouldn't have found very much interesting about this scene, except for when she slapped him and left a black burn in the shape of her hand on the side of his face. Her anger then had sent heat waves rolling in the car until the metal seat buckles were turning red. She had made the windows explode and melted the car door when she ahoved it open and left a sizzling hole in the side where she kicked it.

Even now the heat waves blurred her image and made the brush around her curl and burn. Jo was pyrokinetic but only vaguely aware of it. She only knew that wierd stuff happened when she got sad or upset or scared. Stuff like this. She hated it when it happened, especially since it took forever to cool down once her skin heated up. She brushed a piece of shrub and it burned silently. She headed toward the resteraunt, her stomach growling. Maybe she could get some food before she was forced to go home again.

(Oh, by the way, cute post Paris, it made me laugh XD )
