Title: I Wear My Sunglasses At Night
Description: So I can... So I can...

Napoleon - January 5, 2004 10:33 PM (GMT)
"Do I know-" Sefton began, trying to decide whether or not whoever had taken the seat beside her was worth her attention. Her eyes averted themselves from the door for a moment and she was suddenly glad they did.

"You!"

Sefton's anger errupted like a dormant volcano that had suddenly decided to go haywire. In a heartbeat she had grabbed Dockett's through in both hands and was squeezing as hard as she could, shaking his body furiously as she choked him, pushing back down on the plush couch.

Noone would have been able to notice even if they had tried. After all, the club was dark, the music was blasting, and it looked like they were having a grand old time fooling around on the couch which was most definitely not a first at Dark.

"You sonuvabitch! If you weren't already dead I'd kill you!"

Napoleon - January 5, 2004 10:03 PM (GMT)
Nightclubs have always been strange places, but tonight Dark was only strange because Sefton had decided to grace it with her prescence.

Sefton didn't dance.

Sefton didn't dress up.

Remarkably, she didn't even drink anything.

Sefton was there for strictly one purpose and one purpose only:

She needed to find that good for nothing Dockett and give him a good kick in the ass. Yeah, he hadn't even bothered to contact her the following evening after their little encounter at the Twa Corbies and she had gone there in the first place because she had business to discuss with him. She knew, even though the night was lost in an alcoholic fog and then destroyed in the midst of an extremely painful hangover, that something had gone on that she might or might not end up being too happy about.

Sefton just had to find out what that something was, even if she had to beat it out of the bastard. So she sat in Dark, in a far corner, on a deep purple crushed velvet couch and she waited, fuming silently, watery blue eyes never leaving the door.

General Tao - January 5, 2004 10:13 PM (GMT)
Dockett had been there for a while. Things had been going rather...slow, lately, with his underground system. And so dear Dockett was left with only one alternative. Dark was perfect, believe it or not, to catch those sweet things without anyone knowing. Of course, Dockett was extremely selective, and he didn't drink until his victim's death, and he always healed their wounds, leaving them to feel dizzy and- if anything -having had too much to drink.

Dockett was not far from Sefton, actually, though he was unaware of her presence at the time. He had been crushed up against the wall with a mean woman, taking his meal slowly. He healed the two small pinpricks on her neck as she swaggered and gestured with her finger that he should come back. He smiled to her, grey eyes flashing, and his cheeks rosy with her blood. Quietly he backed away from the woman, who had now sat down on a chair giggling, and turned around.

Just as he turned away he stopped dead in his tracks. Well, he's been dead in his tracks for over a century, but that was besides the point. There she was, silently fuming, sitting alone on the velvet couch. A stab of guilt struck Dockett and made him take a small step back, watching Sefton with wondering eyes. Eventually he cleared his throat and walked over to her, sitting next to her silently, if not a bit closely.

General Tao - January 5, 2004 10:48 PM (GMT)
Dockett didn't fight her grip, and simply sat back as she let him go. He didn't smile or smirk or look smug, he simply sat there watching her. Mm...He felt like being closer. He suffered her anger with an easy grace, and eventually sat forward and leaned his elbows on his knees. His first thought was that she knew that he had secretly fed, but he felt her reaction would be much worse, and most likely he would be missing a limb. He chanced it.

"What have I done?" He asked, turning his head to look over at her, his rich brown hair mussed as if he had just gotten out of bed. He was wearing a weathered and worn black leather jacket, which seemed to be moulded to his very shape. He wore a white ripped t-shirt under that (the rips were not a sense of fashion, but a sense of crawling out of his grave every sunset) and an old pair of denim pants.

Napoleon - January 5, 2004 11:15 PM (GMT)
The innocent look, oh it just made Sefton's blood boil even more and it was already past one hundred degrees celcius. Right now, no matter how good looking he was, she hated his gutts. She reached straight for his white t-shirt and grabbed two handfulls of it in her fists, dragging him closer so that she could spit her words in his face and not have to yell them over the loud music and an uneccesary distance.

"I don't know, Dockett, but you better tell me or I'll have to chain you to a lamp post and wait for the sun to rise again!" She seethed.

General Tao - January 5, 2004 11:24 PM (GMT)
Instead of stumbling clumsilly after Sefton's gesture of hostile intentions, and being dragged closer, Dockett moved fluidly with it. As she brought him closer, he moved to the side and ended up sitting right next to her, his face still close to hers. The corners of his lips twitched as she threatened him. He was supressing a smile. He put his forehead to hers, locking grey eyes to watery blue.

"Whatever it is...I'm sorry."

Napoleon - January 5, 2004 11:40 PM (GMT)
"You know what it is! I know you know what it is and you better tell me what happened or I'll... Or I'll..."

What Sefton really wanted to say was 'Or I'll turn you in', but being somewhat of an outlaw herself she couldn't really go to the police. Besides the fact that Dockett was a vampire and hadn't really done anything wrong that would be going against his nature. The blonde hated those little technicalities.

Sefton shook a finger in Dockett's face, gritting her teeth as she glared steadily back at him. It was his fault.

His fault she was angry.

His fault she had to come to a goddamned night club.

General Tao - January 6, 2004 12:06 AM (GMT)
"I don't know what it is, Sefton. Honestly...Please tell me?" He spoke softly, be he had no doubt she would have heard him, even with the pounding music. Of course, he could have been mistaken, the fact was that Dockett could hear the people talking near the other side of the room, even through the din. He didn't move his forehead from hers, and enjoyed seeing her eyes so up close.

Napoleon - January 6, 2004 12:13 AM (GMT)
Sefton growled, which was a mighty strange sound coming out of such a gangly girl. She tweaked Dockett's nose. Hard. And then fell backwards, lying back on the couch with an exasperated sigh. The guy was hopeless, completely and utterly. Sef didn't like figuring out things for herself, especially when she already had a vague idea of what they could be.

"I hate you."

General Tao - January 6, 2004 12:21 AM (GMT)
Dockett's eyebrows puckered for a moment. "Don't say that..." he said softly, lying back with her, his fingers playing with the hem of her shirt gently. He buried his face in her neck, but in an entirely un-preditorial way. "Don't say that," he whispered again, his cold skin being temporarily warmed by her.

Napoleon - January 6, 2004 12:34 AM (GMT)
Sefton sat up abruptly, putting her elbows on her knees and resting her chin in both hands. She could have-No, she should have left already. He was being irksome and she really should have left already. But no, the truth was that she had nowhere to go. Winter time was down time and as much as the young woman hated down time, she couldn't do anything at all about it. Her life was on the water and ice, in her opinion, was not water.

"I hate you," she repeated, though she didn't say it as loudly and it sounded a little weird due to the way she was sitting with her hands pushing her chin up and all. Sefton could have started in on Dockett as if he were a punching bag right about then because she knew that her words were as empty as they could be.

General Tao - January 6, 2004 12:39 AM (GMT)
Dockett, after Sefton had repeated her proclamation of hate, sat forward as well, watching her. He knew she was in a kind of silent torment, not remembering what happened...Dockett could have gotten away with it very easilly, but his conscience was sharp, and with a sigh of defeat he leaned towards her and gave her a dry kiss on the cheek. His lips then travelled closely to her ear, and he spoke to her intimately.

"I fed off of you, darling...I am so sorry..."

Napoleon - January 6, 2004 12:44 AM (GMT)
Sefton silently grabbed Dockett once again by the front of his shirt, pulling him even closer to her though she didn't bother to look over at him. Her eyes were trained on the door as they had been earlier.

"You better ask next time or that lamp post thing? Will come to pass," she warned. She spoke slowly as if he was a small who had done something bad that he might not understand.

Sefton let him go and then fell back again on the couch, crossing her arms over her face and falling still.

General Tao - January 6, 2004 09:55 PM (GMT)
As Dockett was so expertly grabbed by the shirt yet again, his hands found their way to Sef's back, making even her threatening seems just like an unimportant lover's quarrel to those watching. Not that there were any, though. He let her fall back on the couch, and didn't say anything more. The fact was that he was surprised she wasn't more angry with him...His mind searched back to when she had been drunk, and the guilty pleasure in which he had indulged. Mm. It was lucky he had fed, or the fact that he had tasted her earlier would have been temptation enough to try again. It was something primal, and anything forbidden always seemed sweeter.

After a moment's thought he too leaned back on the couch, sitting next to her, but this time at a polite distance. He turned his head to face her, his grey eyes roaming over her short dirty blonde hair slowly. "Do you want me to leave you?" Hm...that hurt.

Napoleon - January 6, 2004 11:10 PM (GMT)
The young woman gave a great sigh and let her arms drop away from her face. She turned her head and gave Dockett a hard look before slowly sitting up and then getting to her feet. As she straightened herself, she grabbed for the stained, gray sweatshirt that was draped over the back of a nearby chair. She slid it over her head, getting her arms entangled for a moment as she slid them through the sleeves. Funny how she always looked for something to steal, but never thought twice about leaving her own things out and unwatched.

"If ya want to, go ahead. Frankly, I just need to get outta here!" Sefton professed as she slid the hood of her sweatshirt over her head and started planning an escape route. Why she didn't just walk out through the front door was a bit of a mystery, but suddenly she started to move forward, only it was in the direction of the bar.

General Tao - January 7, 2004 01:15 AM (GMT)
As Sefton declared she needed to leave, Dockett was suddenly in no mood to stay. As her foot took that one step forward towards the bar, he was already up on his feet and following. He was only a step or two behind her when he noticed the direction she was going. He gently, and what he hoped was a non-threatening way, placed a hand on her elbow and redirected her course. He led her through the many pushing and warm bodies near the exit, and eventually pushed the door open. First he was greeted by the cigarette smoke that drifted in the artificial cold air from the coat check room, but soon enough the door to the outside world was open, and he breathed deep as his lungs were greeted by the taste of fresh. Not that he needed to breathe.

Napoleon - January 7, 2004 01:30 AM (GMT)
Sefton was grinning the toothy kind of grin that would remind one of a wolf stalking prey. She was, of course, nothing of the sort, but the alcohol behind the bar was the best and possibly even the most expensive she had encountered as of late. She figured the owner and/or manager of the club wouldn't miss one or two bottles of their strongest stuff. She wasn't even planning to drink it that evening, on the contrary, she was already thinking of figures. How much would a grand bottle of hard liquor sell for nowadays? It wasn't her forte, but it was only another way to meet new people. Ah, yes, she was the Queen of networking when it came to the illegal underworld. At least she liked to think so.

When Dockett had grabbed her elbow, the grin disappeared and slowly, but surely transformed itself into an irritated looking frown. How dare he! He feeds without consent and then ruins her chances of earning some more cash while broadening her horizons. Vampires, hmph, they took the fun out of everything.

"Ya better have a good reason for this Doc, that was some good booze we left behind there!"

General Tao - January 8, 2004 12:56 AM (GMT)
"I needed to leave, you needed to leave," Dockett informed her simply, running a hand through his hair, which was falling in his eyes and thus the cause of this reaction. He took a few steps away from the club but was still near it, but just standing on the curb of the now not as busy street. He glanced around...Couples kissing against dark walls, junkies giggling and laughing at nothing in particular. One could tell the door between these groups led to a club of some sort. He looked back over at Sef, smiling in the face of her irritated demeanor.

"Calm down, beautiful, if it's alcohol you want I can get it for you. Or anything else you might desire," He sat down on the sidewalk, feet planted on the street. Sure, it was dirty, but he really didn't care...After all he had a safe and open grave of glorious wet earth waiting for his death-like sleep when the sun began it's usual and merciless route. He imagined the sun now, but not on a any particular day when he was mortal...Just the sun. A large imaginary orb of burning light in his mind's eye, and somehow his vampiric skin still seemed to tingle.

Napoleon - January 8, 2004 02:01 AM (GMT)
Sefton stood before Dockett, staring down her nose at him, liquid blue eyes narrowed to slits. She'd actually had enough of this. Perhaps not quite enough of the young vampire, but she'd had enough of his attitude. It had to go.

"Listen, Doc, I like gettin' things for myself. If I want some liquor, I'll get it. If I desire something I'll pick it off from somewhere, I don't need ya to do that, got it?" She asked slowly, speaking through gritting teeth.

General Tao - January 8, 2004 02:22 AM (GMT)
"It was a simple offer, Sefton, I was trying to be nice, not sexist. Why don't you give that attitude of yours a rest and just sit next to me?" Dockett said, looking over his shoulder, smiling softly at her immediate reactions. After a moment he looked back in front of him, placing his elbows on his knees in a relaxed and utterly human position. He was becoming tired of this constant fight Sefton continued to put up. He had made a mistake, yes? But even vampires did such things. He felt like lying back on the pavement and closing his eyes, and being a vampire, with unnatural skin, no dirt would cling to him. Then again, though, it would look very odd, and so he settled for sitting comfortably.

Napoleon - January 10, 2004 09:15 PM (GMT)
Sefton didn't much like fighting with the vampire either, but she had a lot of irritation and anger built up from lack of time on open water among other things. Her temper wasn't usually quick, just irrational and often silly. She had a very strong urge to kick Dockett off the curb and bring him down once and for all, but she suddenly found that she had lost her steam and that the calm dark and cool weather of the outdoors was best taken advantage of without little useless scuffles. Besides, she had to save her energy for more important projects.

Rolling her eyes in an exagerated fashion, Sef took a seat a few feet down from Doc on the sidewalk. Giving a great sigh of exasperation, she turned her watery blue eyes onto her vampire companion and gave him a hard glare without any intention of turning away.

General Tao - January 10, 2004 09:21 PM (GMT)
Dockett looked back at Sefton's glare, and returned it with a soft smile. Eventually he eliminated the space between them and sat closely. "Hmm...I said sit next to me," he told her with a playful smile, his fangs carefully concealed. He nudged her gently with his shoulder, trying to get her spirits back up. Where was his clever, usually rambunctious friend? He ran a finger up and down her arm a few times, obviously needing her affections.

Napoleon - January 12, 2004 02:39 AM (GMT)
Finally Sef decided to give up. Dockett reminded her of a lost puppy, a dangerous blood-sucking one, but still somewhat cute and fluffy. Picturing Doc as a little, cute, fluffy puppy dog with fangs was absolutely hilarious and the young woman couldn't help, but burst into hysterical laughter. She nudged the vampire back with her shoulder and shook her head, calming down after a minute or two.

"You're pathetic, ya know that?" Sefton inquired, giving Doc's cheek a pinch. She ignored the slightly chilled feeling of his skin as she usually did and then gave him a pat on the back.

General Tao - January 13, 2004 02:29 AM (GMT)
Dockett smiled somewhat cheekily as Sefton laughed and pinched his cheek. "Pathetic? Hmm...Only around you," He replied, smiling softly, always careful that his fangs should be tactfully hidden. He reached out and played with a strand of her cute short dirty blonde hair, which he always melted over. Sefton always resorted to pats on the back, rough nudges or a hand on his leg. Dockett always treated her as gently as he could.

"So...You really missed me then?"

Fiend.

Napoleon - January 13, 2004 02:50 AM (GMT)
"You're an idiot for asking, Doc," Sefton informed plainly, removing her hand from his back and placing it instead on his knee. She gave it a squeeze as she usually did and grinned. The night was young, the streets were dark, the vampire was cheeky and the young woman's blood still had not simmered. What fun was to be had.

"Y'know Dockett, I really should kick your ass, I really think I should," Sefton blurted finally, gripping her companion's knee harder than she usually did, her grin growing a little bit more malicious. She figured she could take her frustration out on him, he was immortal, it probably wouldn't hurt in the least.

General Tao - January 13, 2004 03:49 AM (GMT)
Again, a cheeky smile. He raised an eyebrow as she declared she needed to 'kick his ass', the thin scar along it looking all the more evident. He placed his hand over the one she had placed on his knee and slowly slid it up the length of her arm, until he leaned in and kissed her on the corner of her lips.

"Then go ahead..." He whispered warmly in her ear, before pulling back with a soft smile just for her.

Napoleon - January 13, 2004 03:58 AM (GMT)
Sefton pulled her hand away from his knee and away from his grasp. She pulled it back, back, back, curling her hand into a well collected fist and then launched it forward with full force. It was well-powered, well-planned and landed square across Dockett's face from the left jaw going towards the right which would most likely force his head to turn. Need it be mentioned that Sef was no weakling either.

The second that she felt that she had made contact, the young woman felt better already. It still wasn't enough though, she wouldn't be able to stand it if he just sat there and smiled while she watched him heal himself back to normal.

The dirty blonde girl was up on her feet in a flash, her fists balled and held up in front of her face. Sefton teetered back and forth on her feet, hoping and almost praying that Dockett would get up and face the challenge she so quickly put out for him. If he liked her at all, she figured, he would oblige and somewhere she knew, secretly of course, that he could knock her down in a heart beat.

That wasn't what mattered at the moment though, she just needed some kind of action.

General Tao - January 13, 2004 04:20 AM (GMT)
He had to admit he wasn't totally surprised. He was a vampire, after all, he could avoided that punch with a snap, blur, she's down, he stands. But he let the fist fall, but what did surprise him was the force behind it..Had he been mortal...Well let's just say had he been mortal he would have been very, very unamused. Dockett's left hand moved to the left side of his jaw, where the contact was made. It hurt for a moment, but his vampiric flesh was already healing, and no bruise would appear. For a moment he worked his jaw, hearing a click- Ah, so had he been mortal it would have been disconnected? Interesting- and stood in front of her.

He matched her raised fists with a soft smile. Mmm...Her heart was beating fast...He quirked his eyebrow. Challenge accepted.

Napoleon - January 13, 2004 04:28 AM (GMT)
Sefton's grin disappeared suddenly as it was replaced by a look of extreme concentration. He might be able to heal himself immediately, but that didn't mean she was going to give him a chance to. Her fists grew tighter until the jagged ends of her fingernails dug deeply into her palms. She usually bit them off in the summer, but let them grow throughout the winter so they were sharp and uneven. The marks they would leave would take a lot longer to disappear than usual.

"Good job, Doc, I was startin' to think ya were gonna run off on me... Again," Sef sneered, tossing a quick hook towards the vampire's face, but pulling back at the last moment to bring her fist down into his stomach. She didn't actually know how to fight, but Sef was a very visual person and had seen enough street fights to get the gist of what one had to do. Experience also counted for quite a bit.

General Tao - January 13, 2004 04:33 AM (GMT)
Dockett smiled and stepped back, becoming a blur. No...He wouldn't let her have each one. It was his turn. He grabbed the wrist of the arm she had launched forward and held tight, holding it out. In another swift movement he had pulled her forward. Instead of perhaps telling her stop or requesting she give up, he kissed her roughly on the lips. It was a quick kiss, but passion was in it's descriptive paragraphs, and he bit her lower lip slightly with his fang. Not deeply...A paper cut? And when he pulled back and let go of her wrist a smug smile was on his face.

She wanted a fight...

Napoleon - January 13, 2004 04:38 AM (GMT)
Her blue eyes nearly doubled in circumference as she felt Dockett's lips pressed roughly against her own. Something told her she should have expected that much from him, but being stubborn and frustrated left the blind to lead the blind. Not such a hot idea when one dwelled on the matter. She licked her lips and felt the tiny slit he had created and thus her anger flared and she launched herself at him again with a growl and this time she was throwing wild punches. Honestly, she would have been lucky to land a single one if he hadn't been a vampire.

General Tao - January 13, 2004 06:25 PM (GMT)
Dockett grabbed her wrists easilly, and he advanced, forcing her to walk backwards until her back hit the brick wall of the building behind them. He held her wrists up over her head, another irresistable smile on his lips. He lowered his head and kissed the front part of her neck, and then with infuriating slowness, up and to the side. He leaned back and placed his forehead to hers. Obviously a different kind of hunger travelling through those eerie grey eyes...

"Give up?..." He requested softly, his hands leaving her wrists and sliding down her arms to her waist. He was pressed up against her quite securely, and even if she decided to try and hurt him, he was too close. Was there such a thing as too close?

Napoleon - January 15, 2004 01:20 AM (GMT)
Now thanks to Dockett, Sefton had discovered a more interesting outlet for her pent up frustration. She had realized a while ago that picking fights with powerful beings obviously didn't prove to accomplish very much and since the opportunity presented itself largely at that particular moment, she couldn't help, but think why not?

"Do you?"

It was more of a taunt than a question and as Sef slowly reached up with her hand to close around his throat, she couldn't understand how she hadn't seen the opening before. Pulling him forward roughly, Sefton removed her own forehead from his and turned her head slightly to capture Dockett's lips with her own. Much the same way he had done before, except her embrace was a little more forceful in that she bit down on his bottom lip and was forcing her tongue past his lips. Her other hand, the one that was not tightly encasing Doc's pale neck, was carefully sliding its way inside his jacket, inside his shirt and moving up the flesh of his back.

It was still a fight, but the grounds had changed somewhat.

General Tao - January 19, 2004 10:26 PM (GMT)
A groan escaped Dockett's lips. It was an animal sound, half in pain and anger, the other half in pleasure and abandon. Safe to say he retaliated and with great fervor. The mere warmth of her hands was enough to make him feel utterly mortal again, though the contrast between his own cold skin often brought him back to reality with terrifying speed. The hands that were at her waist hugged her closer as they went up the small of her back until eventually his arms were completely wrapped around her, the skin on his knuckles scratching against the bricks of the wall, and him not caring an inch. His kisses had become hungry and breathless, his head tilting in the opposite side as she tilted hers. His hands then searched desperately at her jacket, until he had taken it off quite viciously, stopping the passion kisses just so he could look down and make sure the jacket was properly off, before resuming with eyes that read 'need, need, need'.

Hmm...Was he winning?

Napoleon - January 19, 2004 10:51 PM (GMT)
It was probably the chill she'd gotten when Dockett had so ruthlessly shoved off her jacket that left her gripping at his back, eyes flying open. Not only was the cold going to prove a problem, it was location. Oh sure, she'd fucked around in alleyways before. Hell, even a phonebooth at two in the afternoon, but this was too close to where her largest accomplises ran their underground shifts as well as their hang outs. Despite the heat she could feel wherever some part of the vampire's body was pressed against her own, she had a reputation to uphold and no manner, or form, of hanky-panky in public would ruin that. She'd worked for too damn long.

Practically tearing her lips from his with much reluctance, Sefton could hear her heart thundering in her ears and felt her breath exiting her mouth in short gasps. It froze as soon as it touched the open air and drifted upward in pale wisps of cloud that disappeared almost as soon as they had formed. Sef stared at Dockett's lips and couldn't look away. Her grip had not lessened on his smooth back and she wondered if she would actually fall over if he loosened his own.

"My place?" She inquired slowly, not even waiting to catch her breath. Sefton sounded hoarse and husky and had completely forgotten this was supposed to be a fight. Had she remembered, she would have claimed defeat.

General Tao - January 23, 2004 01:20 AM (GMT)
"Any place" Dockett replied in a heated voice, a low whisper that bordered on inhuman. He didn't like that her lips weren't to his anymore. And he wanted her...He wanted her soon. To passersby it would have seemed strange, because as Sefton's breath rose and formed as most warm breath does, Dockett's didn't. His chest heaved as if he had been sprinting and he quickly dipped his head down to Sefton's neck, kissing up to the line of her jaw. He moaned softly in slgiht impatience. "Why not here...just....now..." He pleaded hotly in her ear, still holding her closely.

Napoleon - January 24, 2004 09:18 PM (GMT)
"Be...cause unlike you I got a reputation to... to keep," Sefton replied with noticeable difficulty. She kept inching her face closer to his, brushing his lips with her own and then catching herself and pulling herself back. She knew it was a losing battle, but only a prelude to the outcome of war and as much as she found her back up against an appartment building terribly exciting, the appartments within were much more versatile and multi-purpose. Especially her own.

"Soon, soon, c'mon, let's go to my place," she insisted, her voice rising only slightly in a heated sort of whine. Sefton replaced her lips upon Dockett's for a brief moment, attempting to entice him further without trapping herself in another wonderful embrace. This game was the hardest to play.

General Tao - January 26, 2004 03:19 AM (GMT)
Dockett couldn't hear her first words, as the blood pounding in his temples and the sheer need overriding him were enough to drown out her voice. But he caught the gist that Sefton would not let anything go further in their present environment. Dockett groaned in obvious frustration after she kissed him that final time. He stepped closer for a moment, crushing her carefully against the wall, his breathing hot and loud in her ear. But just as soon as this movement was made he stood back, the cool air somehow seeming even colder now that her warm body was no longer deliciously pressed to his own. His heart was racing....

"Come..." He commanded gently, taking hold of her hand and walking with a quick and steady pace, his eyes looking ahead of him but not really seeing anything. His thoughts were...elsewhere. But suffise it to say he knew the route to her apartment well, and was thankful it wasn't very far from the nightclub. Eventually he had reached her building and stood in front of her door awaiting for her to take out her keys and unlock it.

Napoleon - January 26, 2004 11:06 PM (GMT)
Sefton had the key out even before they had reached the appartment door. It was ready, clasped in her hand, the chilled metal biting into her palm with the cold and the strength in which she gripped it. She jammed it roughly into the lock and with lightning quickness, turned it. The lock clicked and the door swung open by itself.

Wordlessly, Sef grabbed hold of Dockett's arm and dragged him into the dark space which lay beyong. She used her toe to shut the door and then back Doc up against it, pushing herself onto him in a forceful, yet provocative way.

"I've got ya in my den," she whispered softly into his ear, hands slowly sliding their way under his shirt and up his chest. They had grown cold in their absence from his body she wondered if it might give him a bit of a shock. Sefton grinned at the thought.

General Tao - January 27, 2004 10:39 PM (GMT)
Unfortunately, no shock. His flesh wasn't human, and so didn't hold the same senses or warmth. But he was enjoying the thrill of having Sefton take control for a bit, and a smile spread over his lips as her whispered words registered in the instances they had been first uttered.

"Yes....But you're mine," He whispered back, no longer enjoying the teasing temptation in front of him, and wanting it quenched. He kissed her quickly, a hand on her cheek for a moment, before he pulled back and grabbed her hand, leading her up the flights of stairs. He was silently rattled at the fact that Sefton and himself would be renewing a few actions of the past, and was pleased beyond compare.
