Title: NINJA POKE!
Description: The poke of ninjas!

The mall was hot, oppressively so, and still brimming to the edges with the after Christmas mayhem. Hustling and bustling scurrying about trying to get the best deals return things, exchanges things, buying things for people they had forgotten... Cara was there for a much, much, different reason. She had spoteed her vitim a while back, in the food court while she bought a cookie, she had followed him for about three minutes now, and it was time to move in.
’Slow, slow, secret, gotta slow.. wait, he’s turning… look casual…’ Turning her head to the side, away from her attempted target, she smiled at someone, that she in fact did not know nor had she ever seen them before in her entire nineteen years of existence. She changed her way of facing him to wave and then turn back, she was getting closer now... Just a few more inces… Extending her hand she poked the leather clad shoulder on the left and continued past her victim to the right, a smirk gracing her lips.
”Yes, such is the day in the life of Cara,” her voice was low, so that the ninja poke attack victim wouldn’t hear “Well, it also includes other things, such as reading, writing, and watching Johnny Depp, but such is a moment in the time of the, the one…. Aw, Screw it. Cara acts like this all the time. And why am I talking in third person?” Shaking her head, she sighed, yes, she was a bit of an idiot, not her fault.
Digging her hands into the pockets of her leather trenchcoat she trekked slowly through the masses of people, who seemed to all be heading the OPPOSITE direction of Cara.
”I feel like a frickin salmon…”

Ahead, a slim young man enters the crowd from a bookstore and swims upstream... so to speak.
His hair is long-- a few inches too short to put back into a tail, it hangs down around his ears. It's fine and dakr grey-brown, though as he turns to look around him, a white streak above his left eye is clearly visible. There's something odd about his eyes, too, though one wouldn't be able to tell what from far away.
He ducks and dodges through the crowd, moving like a person with an exaggerated sense of personal space-- which, when it comes to strangers in a mall, is probably true. He leaves everyone as much room as possible, slowing and speeding up again to dart through openings in the crowd as he wanders the mall.
His hands rest in the shallow pockets of his grey winter jacket, which has been left open and reveals the faded black shirt underneath. His legs are long and thin and encased in a pair of well-worn blue jeans. He's long and thin all over, really-- arms, legs, neck, face, hair.
He doesn't seem in a terribly good mood, but then, neither does he look about to bite the head off of the next person who comes by.

A yawn, a deep cough, most likely due to her asthma reacting to all the heat in the mall, and she was back ready to stalk. Her hands were still dug deep into her pockets and she is scanning the crowd of people to find someone to stalk.
Cara is bored again, and rather tired, her short attention span never did much to help her pay attention long enough to be interested in something other then reading writing and listening to music, she’s listening to a song in her head, going over the lyrics again and again, trying to make sure she has it memorized and hasn’t forgotten anything. He’s there and She’s spotted him, not always a good thing for someone on the receiving end.
”Secret, super secret, ninja obvious bad ninja secret supery-de-duper..?” Cara’s voice was still low, making it only possible for people directly around her able to catch what she was mumbling to herself. A quick smile and she was following him, flashing some black rubber banded braces, yeah, this one would be fun to stalk.

He turns a corner and continues swimming through the crowd, casual or feigning casual.
At one point, he stops to glance back over his shoulder. He doesn't seem to see Cara-- it's simply an automatic move, not really suspicious. Probably he saw something behind that caught his eyes.
Speaking of eyes, his are odd. It's not immediately obvious why, but they are definitely odd. A closer look would reveal that while one is a relatively normal brown, the other's white-- black ring around the iris and black pupil, but a white eye.

(Gah, been reading Les Misérables, do forgive me, it’s third person but has first person thrown in every so often, and it’s rubbing off, don’t hate me)
She sees him, he is all she sees, when she stalks she gets serious. Which is rather frightening really, she could follow someone for an entire day and not get bored from them, like she got distracted and bored by everything else when she was unfocused.
Speaking of unfocused, wait no. No speaking of unfocused, that had nothing to do with what we were speaking about. She caught a quick glance of his eye after he looked back, was that the second time? Maybe she should start acting inconspicuous, or something, or pretend to be intently focused on something, she had a CD player in her pocket, that was so awesome. Now if only she knew what CD was in it, something by the Doors would be wonderful at this point. Wait, eyes, yes, eyes, it looked.. blurry, like something you see when you look through a fogged up glass. Or maybe it was just this distance, because it seemed white.
"No probably not," she shurgged, continuing to follow.
She was getting closer now, almost touching, closer, closer. Oh, she loved this song!
I am Jill's short attention span
She laughed softly too herself. She was almost there. Her fingers stretched out... and... POKE! Hah another victim of Cara's boredom! Digging her hands into her trenchcoat pocket she continued walking, trying to look inconspicuous.
