Picture this. All your nightcrawlers, bus-stop hounds, gods and goddesses and trick gangsters are nocturnal, right? And.. hey, they're hungry. So here's this 24-hour diner, right? And they go to it. And they EAT!

And, like, during the day, kids could go there. And there could be all these great threads where stuff happens. Because, like, there's a billion nightclubs and no diners. And all these damned underage characters need somewhere to go and do stuff.

And then there's the whole 'diners are cool' aspect. -And- a normal part of any city.

Yay diners! Although around where I'm from they don't them diners. They call them independant restaurants where you can get a decent meal... Pretty much in terms of "Hey Jess let's go to Stop 55" which has crazy fries (Spagetti sauce and fries mmmm.) and poutine, home style of course. I haven't really figure out the liver and onions entree, I bet no one buys it... Then again there is a lot of old people. Oh but the best thing about Canadian diners... No grits... How the Americans can eat that stuff is news to me, yuck!

I agree on the diner thingy. I say please to Jack too! Please, Jack! Pretty please? I swear, I won't make a fat, motherly, diner waitress named Isabel... I promise... Her named will be Candy... Or Candice...

Diner sounds like a really spiffy idea! It should be 50's style for sure! Kinda like La Belle Province :D (If you've ever travelled to Quebec you might understand what I'm talking about).
