Title: Frustrated Play Time
Description: -Reserved for Tor-
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 02:16 AM (GMT)
Not long after she had heard a car come and go, the vampire had finally gotten up and headed into the house only to find that Cheddar was not there. A deep frown had crossed her face and left her feeling quite dejected. She would not, however, question where he went and such. His business was his business and she knew that. It must have been bad though if he left without even so much as a 'bye, see ya later' type of thing.
She's frustrated. Dejected and frustrated. "Sasha, stay," she tells the dog as she heads towards the front door. It's not very often that she leaves her dog at home. Just when she's planning on going to visit one of her own playthings. She doesn't have but a couple of 'toys'. Two or three at most. Mortals. Mortals that know what she is and allow her to drink from them because they get something in return as well.
It doesn't take her long to get where she's going. Her frustration is enough to get her to move in the fast manner that vampires can move in. She's made her way to a hotel and within moments she's standing in front of a door knocking on it. She's just hoping that he's actually here.
Renata - September 27, 2005 02:32 AM (GMT)
Keiblen has had a very fruitful day of research. But only if you consider finding nothing fruitful, in which case he has enough to feed the entire world several times over. Needless to say, his mood isn't the greatest.
All cheap hotel rooms are freezing, but how many of them can you see your breath in? I think it's rather safe to say that his is the only one. It normally wouldn't be so cold, but he's had a great day of nothing, remember? He deserves a little bit of comfort. Brooding comfort.
He doesn't expect to see Enyo at his door, but sure enough, there she is through the tiny peep hole in the door. That's alright though, he's not in the positon to deny. He opens the door and stands aside. She already has permission to come in any time she pleases.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 02:37 AM (GMT)
The cold never bothers her when she comes visiting this one. Very seldom does she even really notice hot or cold. I mean, she notices but it doesn't faze her in the least.
The door opens and she flashes a smile before walking inside. "I was hoping you were here," she says as she turns towards him and waits for him to close the door behind her.
Renata - September 27, 2005 02:49 AM (GMT)
"It's your lucky day, then. I almost went somewhere tonight and then who would you bed?" Sure, he knows she has others, he's not that naive. She has to because she really doesn't take that much from him.
Thirty-something years old, Keiblen is wearing one of his turtle necked sweaters--hunter green--and a pair of khaki pants. He is barefoot on the cold carpet. He has an angular face with blond hair that falls past his cheekbones in the front but tapers into a close cut the closer it reaches the back of his head. He observes Enyo with green eyes that appear to be iced over, and shuts the door firmly behind him. There's always a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the handle of the door, so there's no need to place one on it.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 02:54 AM (GMT)
"Are you sure about that?" she toys as he says it's her lucky day. "It could very well be your lucky day. I could easily bed anyone I wish to." She flashes him a slight smile as she speaks. Her fangs currently no where to be seen.
She waits until the door is shut before moving towards him. Because she is feeling frustrated and dejected, she's also feeling on the aggressive side. She easily covers the short distance between them and presses him firmly against the door.
"Feel like playing?"
Renata - September 27, 2005 03:01 AM (GMT)
Oreon doesn't like being submissive. He doesn't like the position the vampire is putting him in. His eyes narrow at the thought. What seems like a spark in the back of his mind and Keiblen shakes his head, trying to clear it, keeping himself from reacting in such a way.
But Oreon won't let it rest. She shows up at his door begging for sex and tries to take the upper hand? He doesn't think so. A layer of slick ice creeps its way up his body.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 03:09 AM (GMT)
It's obvious that something is emotionally up with the vampire because this is not how she usually is with her play things. Not this man anyway. She always gave him what he wanted and then she'd get what she wanted. She was never the aggressor with Oreon. But she's in quite a fickle mood at the moment. Frustrated. Dejected. Not a good mix for the vampress in the least.
She doesn't usually notice the cold but how could she not notice the sudden even colder feel coming from under his shirt. She tilts her head to the side a little as she reaches to slide her hands up under his shirt. "What's this?" she asks curiously. "Ice?" Bright green eyes widen slightly at the feel of the cold ice.
Renata - September 27, 2005 03:18 AM (GMT)
"Since when do you call the shots?"
That isn't how he normally speaks, now is it? He's not the most soft-spoken man, obviously, but he's never been so harsh to her. He's actually looking rather accusative.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 03:24 AM (GMT)
Bright green eyes stare at him in wonder. She's noticed the different tone in his voice. Dainty hand reaches down and comes to rest on the croch of his pants. "What's wrong Oreon?" she says in a teasing tone. "Don't you want to play?" She presses herself against him causing him to press against the door a bit more. She tilts her head back slightly so that the small vampire can look up at him better. She flashes him a grin. Her fangs clearly visible now. "You've not turned me down before..."
Renata - September 27, 2005 03:32 AM (GMT)
He doesn't want sex anymore. He grabs her wrist, hard, and pulls her hand away. The ice beneath his clothing has disappeared, but with the contact of skin it travels up the woman's arm.
"Don't call me that." A harsh command. He hates his first name. His face remains in the cold glare throughout her actions and the sight of her fanged grin doesn't excite him the way it has before.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 03:36 AM (GMT)
"Ouch," she says and tries to yank her wrist away from him. "What the hell is up with you?" she snaps back at him. "Let go of me." She's still trying to pull her wrist away from him when ice starts traveling up her arm. Her bright green eyes widen at the sight. "What the hell are you doing??" A very slight note of panic in her voice at the sight of the ice traveling up her arm. "Trying to kill me??"
Renata - September 27, 2005 03:38 AM (GMT)
"Maybe, but you can't die, remember?"
His face doesn't betray anything.
"Let's just say you've caught me at the wrong time." He grabs her other arm in the same manner.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 03:43 AM (GMT)
Can't die? Can't die? Of course she can die! Not die like a mortal dies but die like a vampire dies.
"Let go!" she snarls and continues trying to yank her wrist away. Now she's trying to yank both wrists away. The thought that she could easily over power and get away doesn't yet cross her confused mind. "What the hell is wrong with you? Stop it! All you had to do was say you didn't want me here tonight!"
Renata - September 27, 2005 03:46 AM (GMT)
An electrical charge through his brain and Keiblen returns to the way Enyo knows him, but only in expression because his hands do not release their grip. He's frightened of himself, and then his face hardens again.
He pushes her down to the ground and frost quickly zig-zags its patterns over her sking.
"I never said I don't want you here."
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 03:49 AM (GMT)
She makes an 'ooof' sound as he pushes her to the ground. The ice and frost on her skin scares her. More than she's letting on even. If it freezes her veins, she very well could become no more. That would not be a good thing.
"Don't do this..." she pleads. "Just let me leave..."
Renata - September 27, 2005 03:52 AM (GMT)
And if he grips much harder and breaks those veins, permeating them with cold, how much of a chance does she stand of repairing them?
"Shut up!" One hand releases to hit her across the face.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 03:55 AM (GMT)
She probably wouldn't be able to repair them fast enough to save her own immortal life. Immortal. What a silly word for a creature that can die.
Her head whips to the side as he hits her across the face. Her hand that he released comes up to cover the spot he hit.
"Stop..." she whimpers softly. "Please..."
Renata - September 27, 2005 04:00 AM (GMT)
A strong, swift kick is delivered to her side. He loves hearing her beg like that, it's so uncharacteristic of how he should be. But perhaps this is how he should be and his other mannerisms are abnormal.
Another electric charge. He shakes his head and backs away, though the ice has not melted.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 04:03 AM (GMT)
She folds over holding her side after he kicked her. Her eyes are becoming tinted with red as tears well up in them. Him backing away takes her by surprise. She recovers from that surprise quickly and shoots him a vicious look.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" she shoots at him as she tries to scramble to her feet.
Renata - September 27, 2005 04:07 AM (GMT)
"God, not again, it didn't happen again.." his voice is extremely quiet and his face is becoming flushed. The cold atmosphere he's created in the room disappears abruptly. Keiblen holds his stomach and tries not to heave.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 04:10 AM (GMT)
She manages to get to her feet and just stands there staring at him. Not for long though. Her own frustration has risen. No longer just sexual frustration at this point though. Frustration at having been physically attacked by one of her play things.
She's suddenly in front of him and pressing him firmly against the wall. She's not very tall at all, so is not able to lift him from the ground as she would if she were taller or him shorter. "What the fuck is your problem?" she snaps at him. Silly vampire. You really should be careful. You've no idea what you're currently messing with at the moment.
Renata - September 27, 2005 04:14 AM (GMT)
When he hits the wall, the change happens again. The scared look in his eyes was replaced quickly with a murderous tinge. A large icicle in the form of a very sharp stake appears in his hand and he plunges it into her side. There is not verbal reply.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 04:19 AM (GMT)
She stumbles backwards and releases her hold on him as she scrambles to get the icy stake out of her side. Her eyes are once again filled with the horror she feels inside. She's twisting and turning trying to get it out.
"Shit!" she cries as she finally manages to get it out. It drops to the ground and immediately she begins to repair the damage. Thank goodness it missed anything that could seriously hurt her. Bright green gaze makes its way back over to the man. There's a mixture of fear and rage in those bright green eyes. "You son of a bitch..." she hisses between clenched teeth.
Renata - September 27, 2005 04:25 AM (GMT)
Poor Keiblen, he's really being thrown for a loop because the kind(ish) side of him has returned. He manages to throw up this time, heat shoots through him and he's so confused. Why does he keep changing, why? He can't handle all this guilt and pleasure in such a confined amount of time.
"Enyo, I'm sorry!" So pained.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 04:28 AM (GMT)
"Sorry? Sorry?" she shouts at him. "You stab me in the side and say you're sorry?!" There's more venom in her voice than there is fear at the moment. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
Renata - September 27, 2005 04:33 AM (GMT)
"I don't know," he sobs. His fingers grip through his hair and the tears that burn his skin fall like rain from his cheeks as he sinks to the floor. The cold returns in an instant and it's all concentrated around him in a visible haze.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 04:40 AM (GMT)
She watches with bright green eyes full of anger as he sinks to the floor. There. Now he's not so much taller than her. She's on him in an instant. Forcing him further to the ground. Keeping his hands held as far away from her as she can. Don't want to end up stabbed with ice again. He could very well end up hitting some place that she very well doesn't want to be hit.
"Wrong answer," she hisses at him angrily. Careful Enyo dear. Haven't you realized yet that you're toying with danger? Obviously not if she's gone at him again. Such things racing through her. Fear. Frustration. Dejection. Anger. Really not a good mix for the usually docile vampire.
She moves her head and brings it downwards quickly. Long, sharp fangs pierce the spot just below the place between his neck and shoulder. She rips at his flesh through his shirt harshy. A lot harsher than she usually bites anyone.
Renata - September 27, 2005 09:14 PM (GMT)
But Keiblen doesn't need his hands to use his abilities. They just help along the process.
He's on the floor again and with the floor comes the drastic change in personality. Morals become as if they've never been in the first place. He is not frightened, he is not frantic but he is angry. She has no right to pin him to the ground, she has no right to presume that because of what she is she has even the smallest measure of control over him. And she is dead wrong if the thinks that biting him will help her desperate situation at all. Suddenly, the temperature of his skin is deathly cold, enough to turn a normal human's flesh black within a few minutes.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 10:26 PM (GMT)
She had managed to drink a bit from the man before his skin turned such a terrible cold temperature. Her mouth came off of him and she moved backwards away. Her eyes narrow in angry slits.
Renata - September 27, 2005 10:43 PM (GMT)
The thing about cold temperatures is that is makes things brittle. Frail. Easy to break. Oh so easy to shatter.
What will happen, Enyo, when a frigid thickness seeps into your skin, your pores, your veins, your very bones? He grins with wicked fascination as he begins with her fingers, snapping them one. by. one.
oneofmanysouls - September 27, 2005 10:47 PM (GMT)
What the hell?? She tries to scramble backwards away from him further. Her fingers! What the hell is he doing to her fingers! She cries out as he breaks each bone in her fingers on one hand. Her other hand comes up and slashes him across the side of his face with her nails.
Renata - September 28, 2005 12:27 AM (GMT)
His fist comes up to do the same thing. Strengthened by rage and sharpened by ice that juts at odd angles from his skin, Oreon's curled up hand delivers a blow to her face with the force to crack jaws. Immediately afterwards a foot swings up to kick underneath her ribs. Deadly icicles hang into the air and are slammed into varying places on Enyo's body.
oneofmanysouls - September 28, 2005 12:29 AM (GMT)
Oh god! He's going to kill her!
That's what's running through her mind right now.
She tries to scramble away but the kick causes her to curl up around herself.
One of her small feet fly towards him and lash out at his legs.
Renata - September 28, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
It hurt, but not so much that it will prevent him from doing what he's doing.
He's kneeling on the floor, dragging her back to him with a harsh grip. Sharp, hard water slices her wrists, the soft, vulnerable flesh of her inner elbows. Another carves a slice from hip to breast.
oneofmanysouls - September 28, 2005 12:44 AM (GMT)
Her feet are flailing as she tries to kick her way away from him. She refuses to scream though. She's stubborn like that. Her dress is getting ripped and torn in the process.
Renata - September 28, 2005 02:21 AM (GMT)
Two stakes pin her arms to the floor. One knee planted on her chest pushes and pushes until the ribs break like they're designed to. A thick, blunt, and at the same time sharp chunk of ice is brought down heavily on her head.
oneofmanysouls - September 28, 2005 02:26 AM (GMT)
And now she screams. Yes. Screams loud. Both out loud and in her head. There's a particular line that her mental scream goes down. Right to the blood mage. Viv. The poor vampire can only hope that the woman can find her before this monster ends up killing her.
K-Squared - September 28, 2005 02:45 AM (GMT)
The blood Mage had alright felt things on the edges of her magical senses. Very faint but enough to make her wonder what was going on. At first she suspected her vampires were bickering again. It became apparent quickly that this was something more. She began to seek out, she was already close by probing with spells when the mental screams reached her. She'd left herself open for such things. It was painful but she absorbed the pain which fueled her magic. It made her colder but she was learning to absorb that too, the cold didn't even hurt her anymore or cripple her and it kept currents of magical energy from ripping her apart.
A hotel room....her trail ended at a hotel room. She gave a snort of disgust at the do not disturb sign. She ripped it from the door handle and tossed it aside before planting a firm kick right next to the door handle and forcing the door opened. "Room Service!" she called out as she crossed the threshhold.
oneofmanysouls - September 28, 2005 02:54 AM (GMT)
She continued to scream even though the pain was suddenly not there. Vivienne. It had to be. It was who she had cried out for. But why Vivienne? It was the first person that came to mind in her severe state of panic. She lay there on the ground breathing heavy when the door was suddenly kicked open. A faint smile crept to her face as she heard Viv's voice. This guys ass was grass now.
She tried to move her arms but they were stuck to the floor by the sharp icy stakes. She could feel the broken bones and such through out her body.
K-Squared - September 28, 2005 02:59 AM (GMT)
Viv looked around the room. Something very strange was going on here, most people couldn't just beat the shit out of a vampire, much less stake them inplace with icicles? If the room is unusually cold Viv doesn't notice, she's always unusually cold herself lately.
She stood ready to face the vampire's attacker not sure what the hell this was all about, but no one was going to hurt one of her vampires.
