Title: Rest in pieces
Description: -open.

He'd just been allowed to leave the hospital. They said he'd never walk again. They said muscles just don't 'grow back'. That's why Lucifer was pushing the wheels of his chair along the sidewalk with a rather blank expression. His hurt from being alone didn't help. Sure, Darcy and Ylva and Alida had all came to visit, but that was all by accident. Darcy had visited whenever he could and Lucifer appreciated that, but he felt just so... empty.
His brown hair had grown an inch or two, hung in his green eyes and obscured his vision which had already been blinded by tears. His eyes were reddened and otherwise dull, sad and lonely. It sucked not being able to walk and he was still thinking about Erik. He swallowed back some tears and continued on, the wheelchair making noise at every large dysfunction of the sidewalk he went over. He missed the sound of his shuffling feet on the sidewalk.
The weather was warm, great for a day in the park, something he'd also miss. This had brought new tears and made the old ones slip off his chin and stain his black t-shirt.
Clunk, clunk, clunk. He just kept repeating the same montonous motion with his arms, trying not to think of getting home at this moment. He didn't even know how he was going to. He should've called Bomani to come and get him, because then he wouldn't be so very alone.
Clunk, clunk, clunk.
He continued on, trying to ignore the stares he got.

One more stare can't hurt. But this man wasn't staring to be staring at a handicap man. This man was staring to be staring at a handicapped brother. Last time he'd checked, Lucifer had been walking. What happened to that?
Jehovah crossed the street with out looking before he crossed, leaving the drivers door to the big white truck with government tags standing open to the traffic. Leaving the man he had pulled over to the side of the road standing at the back of his car with his hands on the trunck. Leaving his partner standing baffled, holding handcuffs and watching Kristi move across the road, nearly getting hit twice but not bitched at because he was obviously a cop, carrying away the written ticket, the little baggie of cocain, and the man's license.
Jehovah stopped at the curb and continued to stare, his lips parting in silent question. He was dressed in black slacks, a black tie, and a white, button down shirt. He had an ID clipped to the lapel with his picture, name, and information as Leutinet Jehovah Kristi of the BPD.
His lips worded What happened but no sound came.

Clunk, clunk, cl-- Lucifer's wheelchair slowly clunk to a stop as a police officer went out of his way to stop and stare. Was it really that bad? He found himself looking up even moreso at the man than he'd ever before, noting the uniform as his eyes traveled upward.
"I haven't done anything wr--..." he stopped himself right there, shocked as he looked up to see his brother's face.
"Jehovah?" He questioned, and once again his voice was slightly impaired by the fact he was crying. He looked back down at the pavement, finding it not so much of a challenge to look down.
He didn't know what to say. His hands rested upon the wheels of his chair in silence.

No, you havn't done anything wrong. Can't a friendly (sure) officer approach a city citizen? Well, most people in this city are under suspicion half the time and the other half are the suspicious. He couldn't blame Luc for being suspicious. He just stood there for a moment, staring at his brother until he finally found enough since to speak.
Come on Lucifer, you shouldn't shock Jehovah so much. It makes him senseless. It's funny, Lucifer's probably the only person in the world who can actually shock Jehovah.
"What happened to you?"
Arcane Blood - September 8, 2005 06:45 PM (GMT)
"Ich bin... vergewaltigt worden." He was telling him the same thing he'd told Darcy after Kilean had raped him. It was German, since he couldn't say it in public in English. His voice was tiny.
"Man... hat... mich überfallen."
He was still looking down at the cold, gray cement.
"...won't walk... again."
(trans: I've been raped. I've been attacked.)

Again, I'll remind everyone, Jehovah can understand German, he just sucks at writeing and reading it and sucks even more at speaking it. He knows words, but he can't get the grammer or the words in the right order, so he doesn't bother and replies in English.
With a scowl. That's German enough right? A German (or anyone) could understand that right?
"I didn't see that in any of the BPD reports." No, he's not calling you a liar in that harsh tone. He's scolding you for not reporting it, because he has a feeling Lucifer didn't report it.
Arcane Blood - September 8, 2005 06:57 PM (GMT)
"But, I... never got the chance to... say anything." Lucifer shivered, shook his head and it was evident he was crying from his tone and the redness in his eyes. His hands were still stuck upon the wheels, shaking. This was damnation, that's what. A hell to be stuck in this stupid contraption.
Still looking down. He bit his lip. Jehovah was mad? Scolding him? He didn't even feel like talking to him if that's what he was going to do to him.
Thorn - September 8, 2005 07:04 PM (GMT)
"Luc," scowl. "There's always a chance."
He looked down at his brothers hands on the wheels, bent slightly and touched one of the shaking hands. Who had done this to his brother? He'd find him and he would do worse. He would make his other murders look like a bundle of roses. That person was going to suffer.
"Where are you going? I'll get the day off."
Glance over his shoulder at his partner and the man now in Cuffs and in the back seat of the squad truck.
Arcane Blood - September 8, 2005 07:25 PM (GMT)
"Sorry." He swallowed thickly. If Lucifer weren't... well, Lucifer, he would have been incredulous and angry. He couldn't have. He only just got out of that damned hospital. He didn't know either of his attackers' names and only vaguely recalled what they looked like.
"I didn't... didn't mean to upset you..." He looked, sounded, and was very contrite.
"N-nowhere..."
Thorn - September 8, 2005 07:33 PM (GMT)
His scowl softened a little. Onle Lucifer could do that too him. No one else could have stopped that look, and that look usually meant Jehovah would kill them. But he couldn't kill Lucifer, never. Well...not anymore anyways. He loved lucifer now, that's why he's angry.
"It'...I'm not upset with you. I just wish you'd have tried to call someone." Me? We're getting soft Jehovah. Your humanity is showing. "Well then you can come with us. We've got to go back to the station, I'll time out, and I'll take you home."
By home he means to his home. He doesn't consider Bomani's appartment Lucifer's home, and he'd rather avoid the egyptian anyways since he wasn't allowed to kill him, by Lucifer's rules.
Arcane Blood - September 8, 2005 07:46 PM (GMT)
"I couldn't." He said, pathetically. He finally had the nerve to look up at Jehovah, if only briefly. "I... didn't think to." He admitted, his hand slightly tightening on the wheel of his chair.
"Come with.. you? ..mm, okay..."
Thorn - September 8, 2005 07:56 PM (GMT)
"You didn't think to?"
To call me? Bastard. I'd have remembered to call you!
"You didn't call the desert rat did you?"
Oh that would push him to all sorts of angry.
He pulled Lucifer's hands off of the wheels and stepped behind the chair. He actually looked this time before crossing the road. It wouldn't be good for both of them to be in a wheelchair...or dead. His partner gave a questioning look and he didn't answer as he opened the passenger door of the truck and lifted Lucifer out of the wheelchair and into the seat, settling him into the middle and set to folding the chair up to put it in the truck bed.
Arcane Blood - September 8, 2005 08:15 PM (GMT)
He bit his lip hard until it bled and shook his head wildly. "Uh uh." No, he hadn't called Bomani. He hadn't thought to call anyone. He slumped his shoulders and seemed to shrink a little as Jehovah walked behind him and pushed his wheelchair. He closed his eyes and didn't move at all when he was lifted onto the seat. He folded his hands over his lap, still biting his lip.
Thorn - September 9, 2005 12:56 PM (GMT)
Ultimate reliefe, the desert rat hadn't come before him.
The guy in the backseat reacted like Lucifer did. He was quiet, looking at the floor, handcuffed. That's a man that knows there isn't anyway out of the trouble he's in. They fortunatly had gotten a quiet one. Jehovah's partner got in with another questioning look and Jehovah again, ignored him. He drove to the station where he took a moment to unlock doors and move Lucifer from the white truck to his own red truck and hand his brother the keys.
"Wait here, I have to book this guy and request leave."
And he closed the door, yanked the other guy out of the truck and entered the police department. He came back out after a moment carrying a breif case with locks, switched the wheelchair into his truck, and got in. Starting the truck, he drove to the corner in silence and was stopped at the light.
"Tell me what happened?"
