Title: Religion Question

So, here's the thing. I'm now playing an initiate. She comes from a family of initiates on both sides of her family. She's raising initiate and magical kids.
So what religion is she? Obviously, there are the seven major gods. But how does one go about worshipping 'em?
I'm just not sure of what kind of habitual religious... things... she should be playing with. I want her to play with /something/.
For example, something I thought up would be celebrating one major god per day of the week (seven, y'know?), season gods on solstices/equinoxes... other gods as needed, I suppose.... Iunno. That's why I'm asking. Ideas?
Quick edit: And once we get something roughed out a bit, anyone up for a character in the same 'church' as Amanda? Or the same ___ as Amanda? Humans like being religious in groups. Or non-humans, even. Worship keeps the gods happy. Happy gods are less smiteful.

Heh. Awesome. Iunno, maybe have seven different 'priests'? Or more? People who have day jobs, but on certain days of the week/year put on funny clothes and preach about how great Az/San/ whoever is? Light candles, dance around, sing songs?

Gods don't work like that so much-- even innies don't tend to know all about them. Plus, which are major and which are minor tends to be in flux.
I'd recommend her following pretty much and pagan/polytheistic religion and seeing the gods as, well, the members of that religion. The easiest would be greek mythology.

...reconstructionist Hellene? Ye gads. I do /not/ want to do that much research. o_o
More editing: I suppose animism would work... 'there's a god to everything, so choose a god and worship h' whether 'e's major or minor'.
Maybe Amanda would worship the god of flowers.
And another edit, because I keep thinking of new things to add: It's not that the character needs to worship the specific seven major gods. It's just that human religions have a habit of being in groups. In order to have a religious group, you need specific ritual patterns. So I'm seeking to define what those ritual patterns could concievably be.

People, even initiates, tend not to know about "major" and "minor" for a fact unless they're mages or magical researches-- and even then they don't really get it. What we as roleplayers know about the gods is completely obscured to our characters, k.

Mmm. Check.
So there's no such thing as an innish religion, even though there are innish gods?

The gods are gods. Think... oh, think quantum physics. People in the middle of the boonies might not even know quantum physics exists. Scientists do, but they really don't know all about ti because Quantum Physics isn't going to come down and tlel them about it.
Just because you know about the innish and that, you don't know all about the gods. You may know about certain incarnations-- you may know current names... the ones they take in this area, anyhow. In india they go in different shapes, with different names.
If initiates have a religion, they're likely to percieve the gods as a part of it, as long as the facts fit half-decently. I mean, your character could even be Christina, believing the gods not gods as others think, but angels or demons depending on preference.
The fallibility of character is important, y'know?
