Title: Watching The Snowflakes Fall

Chibirusia - December 7, 2003 01:39 AM (GMT)
Damian peered calmly out through the slightly frosty window at the gentle snow that fell on Elm street like powdered surgar. A few people wrapped tightly in coats, hats and scarfs hussled about the street to shop for chirstmas presents. Despite this, the pertucular store he lived in haven't receved many custermers yet.

His grandmother had went back into the house area of the building to make some lunch for the two of them, and all the fans were recently turned off, so wisp stayed outside in the brisker wind.

The boy was pleased that he could get a little wile to himself, though watching the snowflakes drift by on the wind wasn't the most productive activity he could be doing.

A young girl, not much older then 7 or 8 walked down the snow covered Elm Street, peering in the frost covered shop windows, smiling at a few of the things she saw, but they were all too much for her, she needed and afforable shop to buy Miss Zyra a present for Christmas, as a thank you gift. Her knee length off-white coat was buttomed up all the way and her brown knee socks pulled up higher agaisnt the wind and her just below, off-white knee flat boots helped alittle. Her light brown, chopped style hair blew back in the wind and her brown mitten hand were crossed over her chest.

She stopped, looking inside of a store and jumped when she saw Damian's face peering outside. Smiling and giggling to herself she pushed open the door and stepped into the store and looked towards the boy, smiling. *'Ello! Do you work here?* She asked, cheerfully, her cheeks turning red with the heat change.

Damian wached the little girl prance in with amusement, just waiting for her to react on the intence smell of incents that exploded in the store.

He noded.

"Yeah, I guess you can say that." Was his responce to the rosy-cheeked child, as he turning from his leaning position at the window to stand strait and look at her.

She was rather young, that was good. Wisp wouldn't throw much of a fit for him talking to a little girl.

Like he said she would, she reacted to the smell of then incents. Her nosie wrinled up lightly and almost too late she covered her mouth and nose with her mitten covered hand as she sneezed. *Bless me! Powerful smell!* She said, chuckling.

*I'm looking for a present, for Christmas. Do you think you could help? I don't really know what she likes, so I'm not sure of what to get her.* Jesse sighed lightly, maybe she should have asked Miss Zyra what she wanted, but that would have been no fun. *Also,* Jesse started meekly, *I, ah, can't spend too much..* She looked down at the ground, and kicked it with her boot, wishing she could spend more money. Looking up again she shook her head to get her hair out of her face and then took her first good look around.

Outside, nearing the shop walked Sorayo. On her head sat a wooly gray tuke, around her neck was a black scarf and on her feet were heavy boots. Her long trenchcoat dragged on the floor after her. Finally, she wore baggy and warm-looking jeans.

Sora sniffled many times. Those sniffs were also accompanied by many sneezes and coughs. She had caught a terrible cold and was going to get some medicine. Even smitted with the cold, she still looked and felt rather cheerful.

Now, Sora was a horrible navigator, and didn't go by Elm Street for a long while. Thus, making her very lost and confused. Plus, on top of that factor, some of the shops had probably changed or something.

Realizing she was lost, she immediately makes a U turn for the nearest shop - the one Damian and Jesse were in. Sorayo enters the shop, still sneezing and sniffling. She rubs moisture away from her eyes and looks around.
