Title: A victim?
Description: For Arc...
Massacist - May 22, 2005 03:09 AM (GMT)
six and a half foot tall beasts with gray skin, glowing white eyes, claws, and wings that match his height in span don't exactly fit into the every day, average city life. This is probably the very reason that Verkur is hanging out in the city disrupting disrupting the every day city life of any average person that's willing to walk the streets after dark alone.
Minus the wings, eyes, the gray skin, claws, and the inhuman height, Verkur would be an eyeless, wingless, lump of muscle without skin. No really, minus all of that, he could have passed as human. But he has wings and glowing white eyes and gray skin. And he's even got a mouth full of sharp, razor point teeth and fanged canines.
The demon is dressed in a pair of tight leather pants, combat boots that are expensive enough to feed a crowd in a third world country, and a tight short sleeved black shirt streatched across his chest. The dark clothing tends to make his gray tinted, pale skin seem paler in comparison. His hair reaches in layers to his waist and is braided down his back, strands escaping to frame his regal face.
He isn't doing anything particular to draw himself attintion besides actually existing. He's just standing at the corner of the ally, just out of sight from the street, waiting for trouble to find him. Or better yet, a victim to cause trouble for.
((I'm disappointed in this post but I've not got the patience to go back and fix it. sorry)
Arcane Blood - May 22, 2005 03:23 AM (GMT)
Lucifer happened to be on a day off. He was perfectly happy a few days ago with Bomani, but then... a spirit followed Bomani home, and possessed him. And then... he went and almostkilled him. And now, a couple days later, he was still guilty. He almost killed him. He almost killed Bomani. Bomani cared about him, possibly even loved him.. and he almost killed him.
He decided he was a monster, and that he shouldn't be allowed to live anymore. He didn't deserve life. He was a waste of human flesh.
He was dressed as he normally was. Brown hair in his face, in his green eyes, hood of his black sweatshirt pulled over his head... old, crappy jeans, with his hands stuffed into his pockets.
And he was shuffling along, as usual... Just meandering.
(*slaps!* It was perfectly good, Em! No apologizing! Mine was short and craptastic though. *hypocrite.* Sorry.)
Massacist - May 22, 2005 03:42 AM (GMT)
Lucifer's looking incredibly depressed this glorious night. It's what draws Verkur's attintion. Usually the demon leaves depressed people alone and works at making perfectly happy people depressed. Well. That's a lie. He fucks with anyone. But usually he looks to ruin good lives. But tonight, he's willing to break routine and ruin an already ruined life. It's like breaking a toy that was already really fragile. Little does he know this potential toy belongs to his Eric.
Verkur steps out of the shadows, almost like tossing a curtian out of the way, to stand directly in Lucifer's path, blocking his route to where ever his pitiful life might be leading him. He raises a hand and begins to pick something imagined from under his claw as if it was the most interesting thing in the world and he hadn't just delibeartly stepped into someone's way. He acts like wings, white eyes, and claws are normal, everyday genetic occurences. They are where he came from.
He says nothing, but he lets his heavy white gaze rest on Lucifer, letting him know without saying so that he's deliberatly let himself into his life, uninvited.
Arcane Blood - May 22, 2005 03:50 AM (GMT)
Lucifer stopped. Stopped moving, stopped looking at the ground, stopped breathing... just stopped. And he looked up and up (and up) at Verkur, green eyes locking with white ones. This was not good. This was definitely not good. The last thing he needed was Verkur, of all people (or demons, rather) blocking his path tonight.
He finally let himself breathe... "Oh God..." That was not good. Just when he thought his miserable life couldn't get any more miserable.
He stood, frozen in terror.
Massacist - May 22, 2005 03:59 AM (GMT)
No one should ever think their lives can't get any worse. If Verkur found out someone thought nothing could get worse, he'd personally make sure it did. Not that he knew Lucifer thought it couldn't get worse. That was just a bonus.
"Gods."
He corrected in a voice that was not meant for english but rather was desinged for some other language that didn't exist on this planet. Or this universe. His voice was deep, haunting, scratchy, and sounded like a whisper without whispering. He stressed the 's' on the end of the word.
Arcane Blood - May 22, 2005 04:04 AM (GMT)
"Go away." The words were shaky, but they were definitely meant to be firm. "From me." He added, in his state of numbing, idiotic fear. He didn't even acknowledge the correction, he was just immediatly scared for his life.
"I... I." Stammering idiot.
"Go ahead and kill me, if you want." Because Lucifer never could finish the job himself. Nobody would let him.
Massacist - May 22, 2005 04:21 AM (GMT)
Verkur cocked his head to the side in a curious fashion.
"Kill you?" The accent for a different tongue turned the words into 'Keel Ew'. "Why would I do that?"
No. Verkur doesn't kill unless he's really pissed off, which is a very rare occurance that he can get pissed off enough to acutally loose control, or he's hungry. And he isn't hungry right now. No verkur doesn't kill unless it benefits him or amuses him. Torture is funner. Ruining lives is even more so.
Arcane Blood - May 22, 2005 04:24 AM (GMT)
Lucifer frowned in confusion, his black brows knitting together, causing the skin between them to crinkle into thin lines. why should he? But why shouldn't he?
"I..." Lucifer blinked a long blink, then turned. "Just leave me alone." Talk about sudden mood swings.
Massacist - May 22, 2005 04:36 AM (GMT)
He smiled. The smile flashed his teeth, showcaseing that every single one was razor sharp, canines slightly longer then the rest. The smile would have been more then pleasent if it didn't contain a carnivors dentle work.
"Why would I do that?" he repeated.
He reached out and the tips of his claws ran through Lucifer's hair.
"You look so lonely already."
Arcane Blood - May 22, 2005 04:43 AM (GMT)
Instinctively, Lucifer reached up with his hand and snatched Verkur's wrist. No surprise, itwas his left hand. That left hand had almost killed Bomani. He had gone crazy with this damn possession and had almost killed him. Now his left arm and hand was being a bitch and going out of its way to try and attack people if he didn't control it. It'd always been that way, but now, with this stupid spirit, his condition only worsened.
"I am not. I'm fine." But truth is, he was alone. So very, very, very alone. But he wouldn't admit that... not to Verkur.
Massacist - May 22, 2005 03:01 PM (GMT)
Left hand contacts Verkur's skin and his white eyes widen in suprise. No. Definatly not suprise. Rather, it's the way a child's eyes widen when they hear the icecream truck. Anticipation.
"What's this?"
He senses the possession in Lucifer's skin like a tingling on his pale, dead flesh. His wings twitch in interest and he folds the to his back gently. He begin's to circle Lucifer like a shark, tracing his finger along Lucifer's bare face, the back of his neck, never looseing skin contact.
"What have you got inside you my little human?"
Arcane Blood - May 22, 2005 03:17 PM (GMT)
"Don't you," Lucifer began, a hint of growling in his usually soft voice, "ever," Lucifer continued, swallowed, and clenched his teeth, "fucking touch me." That was coldness in his voice. Distinct, clear, coldness. Something that never rested in Lucifer's voice. Never.
His eyes narrowed, and he pushed away from Verkur. Lucifer hated physical contact... hated it. He was scared to death of being touched, in reality, and got defensive now, with Kaldun's help.
Massacist - May 22, 2005 03:23 PM (GMT)
Verkur wants to play with Kaldun now that he knows he's here. He steps forward when Lucifer backs away from his touch. He stepped forward in one step so that the line of their bodies touched. He sniffed at Lucifer's hair, scenting him. Scenting Bomani, his co workers, and Jehovah on his hair.
"Come out..." He moved down the line of Lucifer's neck, smelling him, the soap he uses in the shower, the laundry detergent he uses in his clothes. "Come out and play."
Arcane Blood - May 22, 2005 03:39 PM (GMT)
Lucifer wanted just the opposite. He didn't want to be touched, he didn't want to play, or he didn't want Kaldun to come out. Not ever.
Lucifer's eyes stayed focused, and never gave into the look of fear that Lucifer wanted to put in them. They were threatening.
Come on Luc, Kaldun purred at the invitation to come out, it'll be fun.
"Get away from me!" He yelled, and his voice cracked.
He flung up his left hand once more, and no surprise again, it grabbed onto Verkur and tried him closer. Lucifer was losing to Kaldun... again.
Massacist - May 23, 2005 02:11 AM (GMT)
Verkur reached up and touched the arm that was touching him, letting his fingers graze over the flesh, his claws drawing faint white lines behinde them. He breathed an ounce of power down Lucifer's arm, trying to tempt Kaldun.
"How can I go away when the other part of you wants to play?"
He made the question sound so inocent. So simple. As if the situation was not complicated and already hard to handle.
Arcane Blood - May 23, 2005 05:53 PM (GMT)
"Please... go.. away..." He begged in a breathy whisper, his left hand tightening its hold on whatever it was it was grabbing. Verkur? His clothes? It felt like clothes to him.
Luc, you're an idiot, Kaldun pointed out, and caused Lucifer to take a step forward.
"I don't want... to..." he was going to say 'die', honestly, but then... the real Lucifer fell away, and Kaldun took over.
"Let's dance, demon," came the taunting voice of Kaldun, clear and husky, with the hint of German accent, stolen from Lucifer.
How fun.
Massacist - May 24, 2005 03:21 AM (GMT)
The very reason Lucifer wouldn't die tonight is because he's possessed. Verkur likes the twist of it. And the whatever it was possessing Lucifer stepped in as Lucifer stumbled aside to where ever it is possessies go when they arn't in control.
Verkur stepped up again to where the lines of their bodies touched. He towered. Something glinted in his eyes, a smile played on his lips. This was his game. This would be interesting, if not entertaining.
"Lets."
The clawed hand slid around Lucifer's waist, pulling him tightly aginst his body.
Arcane Blood - May 25, 2005 09:32 PM (GMT)
Kaldun was used to being dominate figure over situations like this, and therefore played on his past experience. He took the first step, and something briefly flashed through his features... Lucifer's features. Sadness... overwhelming sadness that generally took on his whole mood, consumed him, and made things take turns for the worst.
And Kaldun took the first step.
Interesting dance number.
(That was a horrible post if I've ever seen one. So sorry.)
Massacist - May 26, 2005 01:02 AM (GMT)
((*slaps* Hush))
This may not make a good combination then. Verkur is not one to willingly step into the submissive position for anyone save for his god. And so Kaldun takes the first step, but Verkur doesn't step with him. Rather then steping in the direction he was suposed to to make a dance work, Verkur stepped into the body, pushing Lucifer and his friend backwards into his own dance.
He wraps his clawed and around Lucifer's waist and grasps one of his hands in a tight grip and raises it into a thirteenth century form of dance. Ballroom dancing? Verkur? Naw...
He takes another step, like stepping around Lucifer, and pulls his body with him, into a delicate spin.
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 01:10 AM (GMT)
((Ow. *whine.*))
"I'm not impressed," Kaldun purred, the body he took ahold of simply too short to lean over Verkur's shoulder and purr into his ear, so simply purring would have to do. Though the words said otherwise, Kaldun was almost... amused, was it?
"Then again, I'm quite surprised."
Hm. Contradiction, anyone? Lucifer is full of those.
Massacist - May 26, 2005 01:31 AM (GMT)
"And I look like a care to impress you."
It's not a question. It's a statment spoken in a very matter of fact tone, though the underlying current clearly says he's being sarcastic. Verkur? Sarcastic? Who'd have thought?
He continues to swirl into the circle, pulling the man along, then releases him from the waist, seperates their bodies, takes a step to the side, comes back and pressed the line of their body togather again.
"Your name? And your bodies name?"
He wants both names. Make it clear so Kaldun has no room to play.
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 01:57 AM (GMT)
Kaldun laughed. A deep, rich chuckle that indicated he was now highly amused. A sarcastic demon. How very, very cute. And he thinks he's in control, does he, hm? Kaldun would let him think so.. for now. Besides that fact, this weak, frail, nearly starved body could hardly do anything to fight back, should Verkur choose to attack.
He followed him in his dance, submitting, moving like a fluid, his every step perfect, and with grace that if anyone knew the real Lucifer, wouldn't think it possible for him to move in such a way.
"Mm, you amuse me." Closing all ways of his fun.
"Kaldun, at your service. Lucifer is just my current toy."
Massacist - May 26, 2005 02:01 AM (GMT)
"Amuse you do I? I am not here for your amusment."
If there was anything that the demon didn't like it was suprises. Ok, so he hated being summoned more then he hated being suprised but besides that, it was suprises. His maovment matched the fluid motion of the other, years of practice you see, turned just slightly awkward by the wings on his back. But at those words he paused two beats too long between a step, then continued.
"Lucifer. Hm."
Theres a new glint in his eyes now. I says that Kaldun was no longer his new toy, entertainment, interest, or anything beyond the possessing spirit that he was. All his interest was for his new human, Lucifer.
"How has Eric been?"
He asks it in such a casual way.
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 02:05 AM (GMT)
Maybe the reason he hated being summoned more than bieng surprised was the fact that being summoned was a surprise. A very nasty, uninteresting surprise. And when Verkur paused, Kaldun barely caught his pause, but repeated it the same measures as Verkur.
Poor Kaldun, being pushed aside for Lucifer. It was sort of a disappointment.
"He hasn't seen him. Wouldn't know."
Massacist - May 26, 2005 02:07 AM (GMT)
Actually what he liked so little about being summoned was it was like being caged. He was at the mercy of whatever weak mortal summoned him. He couldn't leave that circle until he was released from it. Like a tiger in a cage.
It disappointed him that he was still playing with Kaldun and not Lucifer. He thought the coment might bring him back. Darn. Oh well.
"Why is that?"
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 02:11 PM (GMT)
Of course he was still playing with Kaldun. You think that Kaldun would so easily let go a chance to play with a demon? Besides, not even Bomani could bring Lucifer back... I doubt anything could, at this point.
"Doesn't know where to find him. He misses him, though," he mused.
"Now tell me your name, demon."
Massacist - May 26, 2005 06:36 PM (GMT)
"Poor Lucifer."
His voice, gruff and accented, said everything but 'poor lucifer'. He ignored Kaldun's demand for his name. Demand. It's why he doesn't get an answer. Verkur's white eyes drilled holes through Lucifer's eyes, through his head, and straight out the back. Ok...maybe not so much, but the effect was about the same.
"I know where he is."
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 06:45 PM (GMT)
"Hmmm." That was not an amused noise. Kaldun looked back at Verkur, attempting a piercing stare just the same, but Lucifer's big, sad eyes didn't quite give the effect of dominance or anger or anything at all.
Something briefly flickered in those eyes.
"Do you?" Desperate tones, coming from Lucifer, and not Kaldun. Lucifer was fighting Kaldun for dominance.
Massacist - May 26, 2005 06:52 PM (GMT)
Ah! Now that's more like what Verkur wanted to see. And it's just insure that the more Lucifer fought Kaldun the stronger it meant he was, hiding under that moppy exterior. And the stronger he was, the more he wanted to own him. And that he was the matching sock to Eric. A matching set.
"Yes." He drew the word out. He knew Lucifer wanted him to tell, so instead of telling, all he did was confirm.
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 06:57 PM (GMT)
"Tell me where he is...?" He asked, still with that desperate tone of voice. He hadn't seen Erik in ages. Too many ages to count. "Please..." Forget the fact that he was a demon. "Please... I'll do anything." And yes, he meant he'd do anything. Anything he wanted.
Kaldun could've easily gone away to lurk in the back of his mind, but he decided he didn't want to. It took a surprising amount of energy just to get this far, however.
Massacist - May 26, 2005 07:08 PM (GMT)
Verkur dropped his hand and wrapped the arm around the body too, drawing Lucifer to him in an almost parental hold. He had one arm around his tiny waist, the other around his arms and his forarm laying the length of Lucifer's back, his big hand holding the back of his neck, claws grazing his skull.
"No."
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 07:33 PM (GMT)
Lucifer let out a strangled noise. Touch from other people was so... overwhelming. He flinched, if only slightly, but resisted the urge to do so many of the other things he wanted to do. It was okay when it was just Kaldun receiving the touch with Lucifer's body, but now that he could feel it again... it made him want to go and die.
"Please.." he whispered, squeezing his eyes shut.
Massacist - May 26, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)
Varkur had that effect on many people. And quite often, more often then not, people did end up dead. But that's a different story. Lucifer, he planed to keep. He looked as though he was thinking about that, though really he'd already made up his mind. He rocked his body slightly, rocking Lucifer. False illusions of a man caring for another.
"Maybe I will. But not right now."
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 08:07 PM (GMT)
"You haven't hurt him..." there was even more desperation coated in that weak voice, and Verkur's rocking motions were making him mildly sick, "...have you?" The unspoken part was: 'Oh god, if you did... I will die.'
Now he bit his lip, and the marks from before indicated he did that a lot. He did it until it bled, every time. "S..top."
Massacist - May 26, 2005 08:23 PM (GMT)
He continued to rock, despite Lucifer's demand to stop. Or maybe it was the demand that made him keep going.
"Only a little."
Actually, he'd not hurt him at all beyond scaring him. Verkur is suprisingly physically gentle with his creatures. He's very possessive of them and the worst he does it attempt to mentally break them. Eric's a strong boy. He's not broken yet.
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 09:06 PM (GMT)
Lucifer wished he would stop. Oh, how he wished he would just stop and leave him the hell alone. But he didn't stop, he only continued to do so.
At Verkur's response, Lucifer flinched again. A little? That meant he'd hurt him?
"Why don't you leave Erik and me the hell alone." It wasn't a question.
Obviously, Lucifer was going to have to deal with this problem himself. He tried to push at Verkur, so he'd go away... but with his hold on him, it was near impossible, if not impossible.
Massacist - May 26, 2005 09:14 PM (GMT)
Verkur smiled at the weak struggle to get away from him.
"Why? Because he's mine. I never leave my human's to fend for themselves. Besides...He called me." There was a bitterness in his voice there. He did not like to be summoned and well, Eric had done just that.
He finally stopped rocking and let go of Lucifer, taking his hand in one of his own clawed hands.
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 09:22 PM (GMT)
There was more than a brief flash of anger in Lucifer's green eyes. "He's not yours, bastard, and he never will be." That comment... that hurt. Verkur was trying to pull at his emotions, wasn't he? Kaldun let him get angry. This was amusing him, for now.
"He doesn't need you." His hand twitched violently when Verkur trapped it in his own hand. "So fuck off."
Massacist - May 26, 2005 09:31 PM (GMT)
"Fuck you? Ok."
That's not what Lucifer said and he knew it but obviously Lucifer just couldn't get a rise out of him. He was so disturbingly clam. He pulled Lucifer to him and suddenly opened his wings.
"My place or yours?"
Those big wings made them both seem small and insignificant
Arcane Blood - May 26, 2005 09:37 PM (GMT)
"Fuck." At that point, that was all Lucifer could coherently think of to say. "Get the fuck away from me." That was a demand. That was something Lucifer never issued. Never.
"I'm not going with you." But he didn't know how to get away.
