Title: Stalking....
Description: Well... kinda....

The sun was hidden from the poor residents of Bayville, well at least the mall patrons, but that was probably why most of them where here any way. Clouds were swelling up in the sky, leaving no traces of blue what so ever, making the world seem bleak and gray. The day outside may have been depressing and dismal, but the world inside the sheltered quarters that had been dubbed the ‘cool’ place to hang out, was brimming with life, as it did quite frequently on days like this.

Grace was scanning the people of the mall all from the third floor, leaning against the rail, her hair falling over her face, shielding her eyes and the rest of her face from the other various mall-goers. She was planning on stalking some one today, not actual crazy-psycho-kill-people-stalking, but more of a delightful follow-some-attractive-people-out-of-nothing-better-to-do-stalking. And so far, she hadn’t found any targets, though it may have had to do with her not looking very hard.

Today, Grace was dressed in something more like what her father would wear, and we say her father because we mean the male form of Amor. Elegant black dress shirt, left unbuttoned over a simple black tanktop, the sleeves were rolled up partially exposing the tattoo of the lone feather and a pair of black pants. She let out a sigh of annoyance. No one was attractive today, well they were attractive, she just couldn’t find anybody stalker-worthy.

(This actually happened at the mall, we finally found some guys about an hour before we left that we could actually stalk)

Shad had papers in his hands. Yes, papers. He wanted to get a job... Anywhere. He had prefered to think maybe he would get an exciting job at a bar or something, but no... The bar's weren't open yet. He decided to wander the mall and see if there might be something worth going inside to give a resume to. But he couldn't be too careless. His wings and tail would cause a problem if he had to have a job with a uniform, so all suited shops were out of the question. He paused in the center of what seemed like a foot court, and sighed. He turned himself 360 degrees, looking at whatever he could. Nothing.

He hadn't thought finding a job would be so hard. Then again, borderline genius fifteen year olds weren't normally considered for jobs in popular shops. So this is why he had to give a lot of resumes... Shad started walking around again, slower this time. He was looking now, instead of for a shop, for any Innish he could notice and be sure they were Innish. His eyes were well trained at this, for he had been an Initiate his whole life. No one stuck out. Not one person. He spotted a few groups of giggly girls -- he hated giggly girls -- and went the opposite way from them. He kept looking. Any Initiate would do... He seemed to give up after a while, and sat on a bench, watching people who walked by.

Not attractive enough. Trying to hard. Wigger. Not attractive. Too old. Too young. Going into a horrible shop. Oh! A comic book shop! Grace’s face split into a grin.

”Oh! Oh! Maybe they have a ‘Endless Nights’! Maybe there are attractive people in there!” after saying that, Grace remembered how most people who entered the comic book shops were males. And how most were far from the mainstream attractivity -if that was even a word, which Grace was quite sure it wasn’t.- image. Grace shrugged. It was always funny when she entered those geeky shops.

The people in the shops were so unaccustomed to see females, let alone impossibly beautiful ones, that most had stopped what they were doing to gawk. She enjoyed the attention as she slowly and gracefully made her way over to the ‘Graphic Novel’ shelf and picked up ‘The Kindly Ones’ and made her way over to the counter and paid for it. Heading out, people were still staring, as she left.
