Title: Little Wolf, Big Roller Coaster

Paris - November 22, 2003 10:04 PM (GMT)
The Park was full of tourists, and locals. Always packed with lines that go on for miles, lasting up to an hour of your day. At the front of the line in a ride that lasts a maximum of three minutes. If you did your math correctly, in a twelve hour space of time you can go on eleven rides. It's the kind of thing Paris lived for, a little bit of patience leading to a little bit of fun. She didn't mind the wait, she daydreamed away most of her life anyway.

It was the middle of the day, and fairly warm, the sun was high in the cloudless sky. This was the last day the park was to be open, so it seemed a bit special. The park's ground was littered with popcorn, cotton candy cones and gum. The signs and the booths were brightly coloured but the signs of age became more apparent when you get close up.

Paris sat on a picnic table bench, slowly eating cotton candy as she watched her next conquest. She could hear the people screaming, it would hurt her ears if she got too close. The tallest roller coaster in the park, with that all so catchy name, "The Timber Wolf". It seemed beckon her in name alone, but she needed to draw in the sites before she'd even concider getting in line. Getting in line is the most stressful to do when you go on a ride you haven't been on before. Especially if you're going it alone.

Stella Bringer - November 27, 2003 12:53 PM (GMT)
Sunglasses pulled back in her bleach-blonde-yellow streaked hair, pushing her long side 'bangs' back, and her casual, black tank-top and black hipster jeans, it seemed like she was ready for action, and action she would find. A very fine smirk played across the face of this woman, as she watched the crowded amusement park packed with tourists and townsfolk. Having just arrived in the park after waitting about half an hour (she had cut into the line, but no one noticed, she had started to talk with one of the guys there..more like flirt) to get in she was ready for the 'gold rush'. Rubbing her hands together she set off and with the sun upon her head and back, she looked for someone to talk with or someone to steal from. Either way, she was going to enjoy her day off and hope to get some planning down as well at one of the more 'quieter' parts of the park.

Extra loud screaming filled her ears suddenly as she pasted "The Timber Wolf", heading towards the picnic tables. Stopping, she turned her black-dark turquoise-Lightening blue gaze towards huge ride, and tilted her head. Straightening up she reached inside her front pocket of her jeans and pulled out a roll of tickets and nodded, she would ride this one soon, but first, she had to finish her first task. She carried on and soon came to the tables. Seeing that they were nearly all filled up she headed over to one with only one person sitting there. *Hey, mind if i share this table?* She asked casually.

Paris - November 30, 2003 02:21 PM (GMT)
Paris grinned. "If you don't mind my company, of course." She gestured towards the seat beside her. She then continued to look at the roller coaster and picked at her cotton candy. She made plans for the next time she goes to this park, like earplugs. Those screams were loud enough to give her a headache. Not much of her thoughts were on the stranger. She could only focus on so many things at one time.

Stella Bringer - December 3, 2003 03:48 AM (GMT)
*Thanks.* Stella said and slid into the seat. She looked back towards the ride fopr a moment and then took out her small cell-phone from her other front pocket and checked for any messages, none of course. *Oh well.* She thought and shrugged then went to the games part of the phone and began playing tic-tac-toe against the phone.

Paris - December 3, 2003 03:52 AM (GMT)
"Hey, cool... You got one of those phones with games?" Technology never ceased to amaze Paris. But there was one nagging question... "Hey, why would you go to an amusement park to play games on your celly?" She stuffed more cotton candy in her mouth as she waited for an answer.

Stella Bringer - December 4, 2003 02:12 PM (GMT)
Stella looked up, but not before exiting her game. She smiled and laughed lightly. *Well, thats a good question, which i don't really have an answer to. Maybe 'cause i want to wait to go on a ride, or haven't found a ride to go on yet? What about you though? You're sitting here eating cotton candy, why aren't you on a ride, if i may ask.* She said, her way of talking layed back, casual, 'go with the flow' type, but not rude.

Paris - December 4, 2003 02:18 PM (GMT)
Paris pointed to the cotton candy and looked serious. "You do know that cotton candy is one of the manditory elements of the amusement park..." She grinned and took the last big fluff of cotton off the cone and started mushing it into a ball. "I'm almost ready to wait in line for that ride..." She pointed to the 'Timber Wolf' and then popped the cotton candy ball into her mouth.

Stella Bringer - December 5, 2003 05:02 AM (GMT)
*You were wanting to go on that one too? Same, but the line is so long, one of the other reasons why i brought by cell, so then when i'm waitting in line i have something to do!* Stella smiled and put the cell phone away. *Hey, I got an idea, if you don't mind it, want to go on the ride together? Better waitting with someone else then alone, get in easier as well, pushing and all.* She smirked lightly. *Name's Stella, Stella Bringer by the way.* She said opening out her right hand.

Paris - December 5, 2003 02:06 PM (GMT)
Paris took Stella's hand "I'm Patricia Gullard, but everyone calls me Paris. I don't care what you call me though." She smiled. "So, we have better be going, that line ain't getting any shorter. And really, a cell phone? I thought that waiting in line is half the fun..." She stood up, and waited for Stella.

Stella Bringer - December 6, 2003 03:18 PM (GMT)
Stella pushed herself off from the bench and stood up, smiling. *Nice to meet you Paris.* She said and then started walking *Half the fun? Really? Well, we'll have to see, won't we?* She grinned and started walking backwards so she could talk easier with Paris who was behind her still.

Paris - December 6, 2003 03:29 PM (GMT)
"I've be on around fifty of these roller coasters, and waiting in line watching other people become scared really gets the adrenalin pumping." She banged a fist to her chest a couple of time to signify a beating heart. "The biggest excitment is reaching the front of the line and then going off the first big dip." She made a swooping motion with her hand. "So, how many roller coasters have you braved before this?" She said as they reached the end of the line.

Stella Bringer - December 7, 2003 05:08 AM (GMT)
Stella laughed at her actions and then shrugged at her last question. *First time I've been here, new to the city.* She said, smiling. *Glad I chose to come and check this place out, the way you're talking about it sounds like I'll enjoy it, great place to relax!* Stella chuckled and looked at the people infront of her. *Yep, we have awhile to go yet.* She said and shrugged.

Paris - December 7, 2003 03:32 PM (GMT)
Paris eyes went wide with fake shock. "Relax, here? Are you crazy? This is the place where you eat a lot of food and then lose it all to the rides. After that you play some vaguely impossible games before buying overly priced merchandise. Relax doesn't fit in that category." She shurgged. "Guess you're out of luck."

Paris pointed to the bottom of the roller coaster's first drop. "That's were the camera is, make sure you smile big." Paris considered turning into a werewolf just in time for the camera to shoot her... Just for laughs... But she wasn't that insane.

Stella Bringer - December 9, 2003 05:08 AM (GMT)
Stella snapped her fingers in mock angry, *Drats, and I was really hoping to relax!* She laughed and looked towards where Paris had pointed. *Right there, huh? Alright, be grin then! Let's see, how's this grin?* At at that point she opened her mouth in a large, fake smile and held it there, her sharp black, dark turqiose, lightening blue eyes becoming smaller as the smile became bigger and caught the afternoon light.

Paris - December 9, 2003 02:19 PM (GMT)
Paris laughed. "Now that's scary. The guy at the picture booth will be running for his money!" The line inched further in and Paris moved with it in practiced patience. "When did you move into the city?"

Stella Bringer - December 10, 2003 06:43 AM (GMT)
Stella stopped grinning like that and then answered her question. *Around the beginning of the month, so not that long ago at all. Looking for a job and place to stay, staying with a contact right now, but he's really annoying.* She chuckled and also edged forward alittle.

Paris - December 10, 2003 01:20 PM (GMT)
Paris raised an eyebrow. "A contact? Now that sounds really formal... Why didn't you stay with a friend?" The line moved again and so did Paris.

Stella Bringer - December 11, 2003 05:29 AM (GMT)
*Ah, see thats the thing, no friends here and I'm not very trusted.* She said grinning dangourusly. She moved forward alittle and then looked towards Paris. *I'm in trouble you see, with the law. The contact is a contact of the police from where I'm from.* She said casually, like her being in trouble wasn't that big of deal, for her it wasn't, after being in trouble with the law since she was a kid, she got used to it.

Paris - December 11, 2003 02:14 PM (GMT)
"You broke the law? What did you do?" Paris had never met anyone who had broken the law before, she had to clarify some things she heard on TV. The line moved again and so did Paris. All of Paris' focus was on Stella now.

Stella Bringer - December 12, 2003 09:50 AM (GMT)
Stella laughed at Paris compelet interest in what she had said. She moved forward and then told her what she had done. "It's a view things actually, theft, conning, possion of loaded weapons. You know, all the deep stuff, I'm on parole right now, I was lucky I got my 'space' expanded." Stella said cheerfully, "Otherwise I would have to have stayed in my hometown, which is alright and all, but I would never have been able to make a new start so I begged to let them let me pick somewhere else, close enough but far enough as well, so I picked here." She said thinking, 'Alright, so I don't really want to have a new start, just need to find someone or something I can get my hands on.' She chuckled lightly.

Paris - December 12, 2003 03:18 PM (GMT)
Paris kept her purse in check, but knew that if this person took anything, she'd know. Highten senses come in handy. "So, any specific reason for why you did those things?" They were almost to the front of the line...

Stella Bringer - December 13, 2003 06:03 AM (GMT)
Stella laughed, seeing Paris check her purse, and then spoke. "Don't worry, I won't steal from you, I steal only 'big' things." She said and then paused, wondering why she did do those things, she didn't really have a reason. "I don't know, just did. My dad worked as a banker before he died, a repectable job, but me, I stole from banks that he would work at, but I don't know why, I just did.." Stella shrugged and looked infront of her, they were nearly there! "Yes! Nearly there!" She said, excitly.

Paris - December 13, 2003 03:26 PM (GMT)
((OOC: She didn't check her purse, she kept it in check, two different things. I guess I should have specified.))

"I wasn't worried, you seem trustworthy enough." Paris grinned. "So back, middle or front? You get less speed in the back, I highly suggest the front momentum is everything." They were at the front of the line and Paris ran off to the front before waiting for an answer.

Stella Bringer - December 13, 2003 07:04 PM (GMT)
(Oops, sorry. I should have thought, -hits herself in the head- lol)

Stella looked at her, chuckled, shook her head lightly and followed, also in a run and hopped in beside her. "You get your way alot." Stella laughed and held on to the bar, and then remembered to belt her in and did so. Once more she replaced her hands on the bar and looked towards Paris. "Hope my cell phone doesn't fall out!" She said, grinning.

Paris - December 13, 2003 07:09 PM (GMT)
Paris laughed. "Don't worry, this one won't go upside down, no loss of phone, just make sure it's tied down to some extent." The park employees checked all the restrains before the hydrolics release, a long *psssssh* was heard. "Ready from the climb? Oh, and don't forget, big smile when we go down!" Paris said before the Roller Coaster moved forward to the first slow and agonizing climb. *CLINK* *CLINK* *CLINK*

Stella Bringer - December 19, 2003 03:29 PM (GMT)
(Sorry for the long delay in posting, busy and was grounded for a bit!)

"Oh, this is so fa.." Stella started but then stopped as the ride began to pick up speed, racing towards the top, a moment's pause and then they dived down, nearing the camera, she flashed her grin just as the camera flashed its light and yelped cheerfully.

Paris - December 19, 2003 06:07 PM (GMT)
Paris barely made the grin as she started to feel the pressures of gravity. Paris knew that when faced with quick changes in elevations there is only two things you could do: Laugh or Scream. Paris howled, not a chilling, wolf moon howl, but a throaty human howl. It sounded a bit like this: "Woooooohooooooo!"

The roller-coaster continued to clammer up and down hills. There where some diagonal tracks that slammed you into the person beside you. And if course speed jerks just in case you started dozing off. Nothing wakes you up faster than going really slow and then a burst of speed without any acceleration to warn you of it. At the end of the ride there was the ye old disappointment of slowing down and waiting to get off.

Stella Bringer - December 25, 2003 08:33 AM (GMT)
Stella was brused up lightly from being slammed into by Paris as they rode along the diagonal parts of the ride, but otherwise in a great mood, but felt a little saddier as they had to get off. She didn't know if she trusted her legs but she found that she could and stepped lightly out of the car.
"Now, THAT was fun!" She laughed, grinning widely.

(sorry for the long delay in the reply, I was grounded:()

Paris - December 28, 2003 03:16 PM (GMT)
Paris jumped out of her seat and hurried to the exit ramp. "I agree." She said. "Wanna do it again?" She checked her watch. "Oh wait... Can't. Stupid work and all. It was nice meeting you and all. Do you have a number I could call you at?"

Stella Bringer - January 6, 2004 03:04 AM (GMT)
(Sorry for the REALLY long delay in this answer, haven't been in this account for a bit.)

"Sure, here, may as well give you my cell unless you want my contact answering the phone, the brick won't let me answer it!" Stella laughed while rolling her eyes and then questioned. "Got a piece of paper and pen? I don't, only got my cell and tickets."

Paris - January 7, 2004 01:53 PM (GMT)
Paris looked in her pockets in vain. She had some money but she couldn't use that as paper, although some people do. As for writing utensils, zilch. "I don't have anything on me to write with. Just tell me, I have a good memory."

Stella Bringer - January 9, 2004 12:57 PM (GMT)
"K. 21578416. Got that?" Stella questioned. She had had enough trouble remembering it, but she was awful with numbers.

Paris - January 9, 2004 02:37 PM (GMT)
"Yep... Wait... I think I got one too many numbers..." Maybe it was some cell code, Paris thought as she slowly processed the numbers given to her. Still eight numbers may not work.

Stella Bringer - January 12, 2004 06:20 AM (GMT)
"No, that's the number, its my cell's number, you really don't want to call to my contracts home, he'll ask a ton of questions before he hands the phone over to me." Stella rolled her eyes at this. "It should work unless it doesn't work here or something. You could give me your number and I can force myself to remember it." Stella suggested.
