Title: Solitaire

Chibirusia - September 13, 2003 11:01 PM (GMT)
Red 3 of Diamonds...

Black King of Spades...

Red 2 of Diamonds...

Red Queen of Hearts...

Black Queen of Clubs...

Red 9 of Hearts; Black 8 of Clubs; Red 7 of Hearts...

Red 6 of Diamonds.

Abbalon had started a game of Solitaire recently to entertain himself wile he was on his lunch break. Putting another fry into his mouth he pondered over what to do next. He moved the Red Queen of Hearts over on top the Black King of Spades. Okay, next...?

Celeste - September 13, 2003 11:12 PM (GMT)
A thought pushes itself into his mind. You've missed a quite simple move, Abbie.

Almost boredly, a thin, pale hand reaches out over his shoulder and flips a red card on top of a black one. (Too lazy to work out numbers) The same hand slides across the table and easily snatches a fry as Celeste walks around the table and sits down in a chair. She feels extra special today in a black mini with at least twelve chains, fishnet hoes and gloves, a bright pink tube top (modestly covered by her coat) and black knee-high boots with imprints of pink stars. Her black and pink hair is pulled into two simple braids tied off with pink and black stripe ribbons.

"'Ello, there."

Chibirusia - September 13, 2003 11:30 PM (GMT)
"Hi Celeste. I was wondering when we would end up having our breaks over lap again." Abbalon looked at Celeste's move, then smiled and shook his head.

To over look something like that... Maybe I DO have too much on my mind..

He didn't care if Celeste could hear that it or not, it was true after all. No problem in knowing the truth.

Abbalon flipped another black onto a red. ((Yay, lets ALL not work out numbers!))

Celeste - September 13, 2003 11:37 PM (GMT)
She pops the french fry into her mouth and crosses her legs--one knee over the other. "Yes, I had been wondering, also. It may not stay that way for long, though...I think my store manager is intent on keeping me locked in the store as his slave for the rest of my life... 'Restock,' 'Check this,' 'Fill in for me at the meeting.' Ech..."

She had heard it. In fact, he projected the thought so well that she couldn't HELP but hear it. I don't suppose you'd like to share your mind? Not literally, of course, I dislike headaches, but verbally?

Chibirusia - September 13, 2003 11:46 PM (GMT)
“Heh, I fell lucky now. The store I’m working in is just failing, badly. End of story.”

Um...

“...Sorry. It’s just nothing, really.”

He tucked a lock of his dusty brow hair that had fallen into his vision back behind his ears before contuning.

“The other gods are getting a tad restless, and I heard something slightly unsettling a little wile ago at the library, and-” he made a weak laugh. “ I guess it is more then just nothing after all.”

Celeste - September 13, 2003 11:50 PM (GMT)
"Perhaps you need to take off work early today?" She suggests with a mischevious grin. "We could go shopping on Elm Street and dive into book stores here...Or simply settle for a stroll or pot of coffee somewhere."

She watches him intently and quietly levels her face into her cupped hands.

"You look like you could have someone to talk to about serious things...Or at least joke with."

Chibirusia - September 14, 2003 12:07 AM (GMT)
He though about this for a second.

"Perhaps I should, It wouldn't kill anything, anyway."

He smiled.

"Care to skip work like acouple of high school freshmen with me?"

((Hah! I make fun of myself! Wee! XDD *is a highschool freshie*))

Celeste - September 14, 2003 12:13 AM (GMT)
(.Hee. I skipped work all the time...Even after my fresh year...Eh...)

She grins back, stands, and quickly pulls her black coat tighter as it almost falls off her shoulders and into the french fries--the slippery slide-y, croched-ed thing. Glaring at a few cute, adorable high school girls who thought this funny, she ties it closed(the good this does, considering it's riddled with artistic holes).

"I'd love to, Abbie."

Chibirusia - September 14, 2003 12:45 AM (GMT)
Abbalon stood aswell, but couldent help but take one last french fry. He picke dup his forest-green trench coat that had been hanging on his chair and put it on, wile icnoring the highschool girls.

“Okay, I'm a little new to ‘skipping work’ and other whatnot to that sort... so...”

Yeah, he was defently new to this.

(( >.< sorry, got asorbed in the card game I’m playing on the computer, I keep ALMOST winning...))

Celeste - September 15, 2003 08:53 PM (GMT)
((Quite alright...I totally understand.))

Celeste grins softly at his slight innocence. "Well, first we decide what we want to do. Then we go against any morals we have, call in sick from a cell phone or pay phone and go have phone...We can say we had...difficulties keeping our food in during lunch." She grimaces at her own excuse.

Chibirusia - September 15, 2003 10:13 PM (GMT)
Difficulties with holding lunch, lovely image there...

He hastely dismissed the thought by asking a question.

"So, what excatuly are we going to do?"

((>.< I have a friend that jsut game me a surprise visit... ))

Celeste - September 16, 2003 11:49 AM (GMT)
She rolls her eyes, and shakes her head.

"You need to listen, Abbie. First, do you have a cell phone?" Sheepish grin. "I don't really...eh... have the funds for one. If you don't, we'll go to the nearest pay phone and call our managers."

Chibirusia - September 16, 2003 07:29 PM (GMT)
"No, no cell phone."

He shook his head, then glanced around for a pay phone.

((>_< gods... just gods... I had such a horrable day..))

Celeste - September 16, 2003 11:06 PM (GMT)
((Really? I'm sorry to hear it. Maybe my horrible day will make you feel better. I got bit during my Speech Communications class and my entire arm swelled up...Then I felt sick during my English Literature class. I started shaking and couldn't remember where I was or what I was doing...Ech. I talked to the doctor and he says he thinks I was allergic to whatever bit me... Go figure.))

She gestures towards a cluster of bathrooms and walks towards them. "There's one here." Quickly, she pulls out a quarter, puts it in, dials the number and then presses the "Return Coin" button. It immediately falls down while she talks on the phone, looking sicker than anything imaginable.

Cough. Cough. "Hey, John. I don't think I can come back to work today." Pause. "Yeah, I started feeling sick again and then it just...You know." Pause. "Ok, no problem. Yeah, thanks. Bye."

Chibirusia - November 12, 2003 11:22 PM (GMT)
Having fallowed her, he watched quietly as she did her act. Actuly he was quite impressed on how well she pulled it off.

"You should take acting lessons." He complemented as she hung up the phone.

((Eee-yup, have to eat soon, so it was short. x.X And this is the second zombie board! XD BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...ha...ha... yeah. *shifts eyes and sneaks off* ))
