Hey, guys! I was just referred here from Neopets (I'm matsujo if anyone's curious) ad I have a couple of questions about this RPG before I get started:
1) First off, do I have to read all the messages before I start posting (and before I post my profile(s) too..)? I know that it's a stupid but I'm compulsive enough to read each and every single one of them unless some tells me "no". :P
2) While I'm on the subject of boards, each of the boards is an area of this world and if you wanted to interact with other people in a certain area, then you would post in the board marked for that area. Am I right? How do you deal with someone posting in one board and then in another board (as if their character is simultaniously in both areas at once)? I'm going to ask a completely stupid question here and ask "Is this RPG linear?" I'm sorry. It's just the way I'm used to role playing.
3)Can anyone help me with character creation? I have everything else down except powers. I'm terrible with powers.
4) This one goes out *breaks out into song* to the one I love. This one goes out to the one I left behind. *smacks self for R.E.M. referrence* Ok. This one's directed at the creator. Are you a Laurell K. Hamilton fan? How about White Wolf (the role playing system)? Just thought I'd ask.
Ok. Thanks for answering any of these questions!
I'll help.
1) Nope. You can if you want, but it is by no means compulsory.
2) It's a whole sort of general mish-mash rpg... ie, non-linear. Just work out in your head when each one occurs, and don't worry about minor paradoxes. You can be linear if you want, but that limits you to a single rp at any one time.
3) I can help. What sort of feel do you want for your character? Well, PM me.
4) Never heard of Laurell K. Hamilton, though if her stuff's anything like the site, I might like it, eh? As for White Wolf, nope, sorry. Not something I've come in contact with, though I've heard of it.
The chibi speaks...:
1) No, not really, but they are pretty funny, so You might as well jsut to get a feal of other's chacters...
2) No, you can play the same chacter on more than one boards, just, don't go crazy for your own sake, okay? ;)
3)Uh, sure, Just tell me if you want me to help.
4) N/A
