Description: Do you want custom classes/races?

Hmmm... feel free to discuss here... I vote no, because It's just... one silly little way to bend the rules and be cheap, and one of the points of this game is to do so as little as possible....

I have recognized that my character can just be a rogue, and I accept that, but I believe that new classes and races should be allowed, but with restrictions of course. Such retrictions are not mine to decide, but rather Paul's as he is the GM. New classes and races will provide adventurous roleplaying opportunities. A bit off topic, I believe the new D&D deserves different settings from Days Gone By (good techno song by Dirty Vegas) to give spiciness to roleplaying. Previously, we have experienced dungeon after dungeon with the frequent town, forest, and Hell. On one occasion we had a snow adventure which although was finished, it failed in roleplaying value. An exotic adventure like this shouldn't happen once in a blue moon but rather in every other game. How about a campaign in the dry desert? Or maybe the steamy jungle? This would give different adventures, and if the game starts out in an exotic location it would give new characters. A thief in medieval Europe is not the same as a thief in medieval Arabia. A knight is not the same as a samurai. This might allow different classes and races to be created. Indifferently, if no players choose to create such things, allowing it will be pointless. Players and Paul should at least consider allowing and thinking up new races and classes and also consider a more exoticly placed game.

I think that it would be a nice touch, but I can't really decide if we should have the custom class/race thing. I believe that if we made characters that didn't coincide with the times, then it qould be  , but if we did them just the right way, making COMPLETE sense, then it'd be B) .....Sweet.....
