Just in case anyone doesn't know - channel five has a documentary showing tonight on the conspiracy theory that says the moon landings were faked. I've read all about this story in Fortean Times and other places and it's a very interesting story. The show should be worth watching I think! :)

Well, it was pretty good. I believe we DID go to the moon, and this programme just made me even more sure. Best piece of evidence has to be the fact that the astronauts left mirrors on the moon, and guys on Earth are STILL bouncing lasers off them. How could that have been set up without visiting Luna?! :huh:

Hehehe, yeah nice site - almost as ridiculous as believing human beings could keep their mouth shut about a conspiracy they were involved in for 35 years!

I usually keep my mouth shut on this subject but i have to say that is was all hoaxed

remember passed the van allen belt which is like 20 miles about the earth no human can get through this belt if you did try you would get hit with +300rads of radiation usless your surrounded with 4 feet of lead astronauts did not have this ?

also the LEM in the nasa pictures there is no dust or massive hole which the LEM gave out 3000 lb thrust , the ground in the pictures is untouched

also there is a picture of the LEM and astronauts took a few more pictures supposedly on the moon, the picture is the LEM with giant hills in the back ground with crosshairs, other picture which astronauts say different location, its the same picture with hills but no LEM in picture mmmmmmmmm strange that lol you could do that at area 51 moving a fake LEM about lots of deserts there ?


i agree with bill kaysing the day i see remains of the flag or remains of the LEM i will not say another word of the moon landings but it still remains the question did we go ?

reflectors can be sent to the moon just like the way we send robots to planets
i believe NASA sent them by rocket and not with man

The JFK assasination clearly has a lot more to it than Lee Harvey Oswald I agree. Not all conspiracy theories are nonsense.
However! I find it frankly impossible that the people involved in such a moon landing hoax (film crew, astronauts, technicians etc - there would have to have been hundreds of people involved) could have kept their mouths shut for so long. It's simply not human nature. If someone knows a big secret, they tell people. If the moon landing was faked, SOMEONE INVOLVED would have blown it wide open by now. The silence is deafening.
Having said that, I'm sure the official photos have been touched up and altered.
As for the "Van Allen belt" theory - this has been adressed. The guy the radiation belt was named after (Van Allen) says the radiation is not strong enough to kill someone unless they are exposed to it for days - the astronauts were only there for a few hours.

A friend sent it to me. Don't know how he found it though! :)
