Just a quick email to let you know about an odd thing I saw last night around 1am. I was sitting in my living room playing xbox when I became aware, in my peripheral vision, of a light in the sky appearing through the clouds. We are underneath a flight path to Glasgow airport so this isn't anything unusual. However, what WAS unusual was the colour and shape of the object that had appeared. It appeared to be a circular object which was bright yellow and there were intermittent flashes of red. I grabbed my binoculars and had a good look at this object for around a minute. In close up (binoculars are 8x zoom) the object was definitely bright yellow and circular and the yellow was encased by the red flashing I had seen.


I instinctively thought 'helicopter' but there was no sound whatsoever.


In terms of movement, once it had come through the clouds it moved very slowly at first from left to right then moved a little bit faster before stopping completely. At this stage it got smaller and smaller in that one spot before vanishing completely.


I've never seen anything like this before and just thought I'd let someone aware of my sighting.

Cant say I’m surprised , as odd as it may seem , Glasgow seems to be a great place to view UFO’s and odd things in the sky , particularly around Glasgow airport .

I’ve tried searching for sightings relating to the airport , but haven’t had much luck so far , by far the biggest problem we have in Glasgow is cloud cover and rain , but as always , its well worth anybody’s time spending an hour or so looking out on even a semi-clear night .
