This is a poem I wrote a while back and I thought that I would share it with you all. No need to tell what inspired it....

In the Night

I don't know when it will happen
Or what the time will be
But when the darkness falls
They are waiting there for me.

I'll secure all doors and windows
Locking them up tight
But it offers no protection
From those hidden in the light.

I know I should not close my eyes
And I always fight to stay awake
But my resistance always fails
And it is me that they will take.

I tell them I'll remember
But they say with deep regret
'Why put yourself through this?
It's better to forget.'

When I awaken in the morning
I know that something's wrong
No matter how hard I try
The memories are gone.

Very good Scully! Reminds me of the Judas Priest song "Abductors". There must be loads of poems/songs about aliens and abductions.
