Welcome to this month's DDNT Contest. A relatively new contest that I hope you all will like. Please read all the below information, it contains the rules and such and a bit more about the contest. Thank-You.
Contest Explained …
Simply, the point of this contest is to imagine you are writing to JK. Rowling. You are explaining/getting the point across on why you are a HP Fan and even why you would like to meet her. If you wish, you may extend this to why you like her style of writing, maybe even mention if it has inspired you to write, or as a future career it may well have! (just some small ideas)
This is really creative writing, your work. We don’t want something like
Improve this by using more interesting reasons, be adventurous!. Detailed, and lengthier and the individuality of entries will catch our eyes more.
Length ...There is no actual set minimum. However, entries of one paragraph at least would be better-- all entries submitted will be judged more on the quality of the writing.
Suggestions On Creating ...- Use interesting vocabulary instead of basic.
- Detailed reasons. What we mean is instead reasons like this --"The reason why I’m a HP fan is because I enjoyed the movies" "I liked the cast in the films" etc
We want you to go further and explain in more detail, introduce more interesting reasons.
Rules …- Only one entry per person may be submitted.
- The deadline for all entries is December 2nd 2004. Any entries submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
- Either post your entries in this thread or, you can PM them to me Harry Potter or any of the Headmasters.
- Please bear in mind the earlier point. Entries submitted will be judged on the quality and individuality. We are not so much concentrating on the quantity but, we would prefer them to be about one paragraph in length at least. We will leave this up to you.
