I agree with you 100% Covenant! It'd be a great game I agree, and probably the most interesting, but there is one problem. We don't have flying broomsticks.

I totally wish this game was for real!!! It is such a cool sport, and it has 4 balls. now that's the coolest. :redbounce:

I heard somewhere in the world that they tried to make a quidditch game. there were two teams, each with twice as many people on them as there are in the books. And they rode on each others back instead of using brooms, and they would switch places when the runner got tired. They had a snitch, a ball that was attached to a string or something like that. And they had people as bludgers I think. They had the quaffle too(a red ball..LOL).

Does anyone else wish that Quidditch was real?

Heck yeah! It would be great to play Quidditch.But why stop there? I wish the whole Potter world existed..i hate being a muggle..lol. :ranting:

The way I see it, we (as in muggles) could play our own version of Quidditch. The chasers could run around on the ground carrying something kind of like a quaffle and try to throw it through a hoop. That would be like a cross between American football and 'the other' football. There would be a keeper to guard the hoop. The beaters would have some type of smaller ball that they can throw at people. Nothing to hard, we don't want injuries. And someone could hide a golf ball for the seekers to look for.

Now, it's nowhere near as good as the real thing, but it could work. Anyone else have good ideas?

Well I guess I will be the dreamer here and please indulge me as I go out on my tangent. I would like to believe in the Marvel Alterna Universe Theory and that it is all real somewhere. Even if it isn't it is real in our dreams and imaginations and that is what keeps me going. A hope! Maybe J.K.R. Is a lucky individual who was given a glimpse of something grander than the world we live in. And who knows maybe one day we will have the ability to make objects fly, Mind over matter you know! Now i think this theory could work...

okay what if we put a gaint magnet sheet on the ground with a positive charge. Then we negativly charge the brooms and balls and such so that they repel thus "flying". now to control the hieght of the broom you would have to adjust the power of the charge.

I think it'll work but hey im not an physicist so who knows

It would be really cool if quidditch was real! There are some people modifying it to make it into a sport they can actually play, but its obviously not even half as good.
