Someone pressured me into posting my picture here.... this was taken this January when I was walking through a parking lot. I turned around and got my picture taken by a friend. I look so thrilled.

1979 Mac IIC (also still runs)

now that dosn't count the stack of laptops behind me (i would estimate that i have about 5 or 6 in operatinal condition) and the spare CPU out in my shed. :D

As you probly guessed, my other hobby (besides Chex Quest) is repairing old computers! At the swapmeet i'm going to tomoro, i can find 486-Pentium 1 class laptops for $5! :blink: I recently found a P-II 133 MHz laptop for $10! :wow:

Now im getting to far off topic though.... ^_^

WOW! I'm saving all my mony for a new pc! You should start a business in repairing and selling computers!

I live in a trailer park taht has lots of old people in it so not many people want computers...but some do.
also some people are real old and pay for peopple to weed thier yards.

so my flyer i hand out is titled: "Nicks weed removal and computer repair" :lol:
First month i made $60! I recently made $75 just for weeding and putting in rocks and that plastic stuff that stops the weeds from growing! :wow: I sold our neibor, Dan, a P-II 350 MHz system for $60. As you can see, im doin allright.

You don't.

You strip them and pile the parts into somebody's closet under neith thier shoes. ( At least that's what my brother did. )

On the subject of spare computer parts, didn't you say that your brother made a server? Who do you use to host your DSL? We use Verizon Online and they won't let us build our own server. <_<

finally back from the swapmeet! left at 7:30, got back at 10! gotta bunch of interesting stuff....anyhow, the computers that i sell are not like the ones you see at my deskt there! i sell, like P-II 233's an stuff like that. most people here jus wanna get on line and check their email.

how come they wont let you build your own server? as of my knowledge, thers no way they could have a rule against it! i never bothered to check w/earthlink before setting up mine!

1) We use Ben Lomand DSL for our internet.

2) I found out about 2 weeks ago that the server hasn't been turned on since October.

3) Who cares if we build a server or not? :rolleyes:

so are either of u guys going to se up your own server? its real easy; just read the document i wrote; its not quite done, but enough of it is there for it to work
