“The official Legendary Pictures website is listing a Diablo movie as being in development along with such projects as World of Warcraft, Clash of the Titans and the Superman Returns sequel.

The dark fantasy action-adventure game was released by Blizzard Entertainment in December of 1996. Set in the fictional Kingdom of Khanduras, Diablo has the player take control of a lone hero as he or she battles to rid the town of Tristram of the titular Lord of Terror and his demon minions.”

that would be alot of work though , may they hire some skillful artist and make fancy stuff , or perhaps they ask blizzard to make those blizzard-like movies like in the game intro.

The Diablo movie should be interesting, though I expect to be disappointed.

so it looks like people are remembering how to make kids movies right.

enchanted looks like it might be funny, and there's some movie about the loch ness monster that doesnt look half bad.

also, star dust looks to be good, as it is written by Neil Gaiman.

It certainly looks very nice, but considering that they chose the American title (which is stupidly inaccurate) and seem to have grossly miscast the characters, I think they've butchered it.

I saw the trailer for this on Space. It looks like it's TOTALLY up my alley.

Dark Rising trailer

....This honestly has "MST" written all over it. It defines campy so much, it felt like I was watching 4 different movie trailers mashed together at once. XD

Oh well, it has one of my favorite wrestlers in it!

...Seriously, Christian is the only reason to watch this. XD

Tyketsu - July 31, 2007 01:47 PM (GMT)
Beowulf looks Cool , although I'm not to speak about Angelina Jolie taking a role again.
but Antony Hopkins is in it so I hope he makes up for it! :o

also 10,000 B.C. looks EPIC :o

a little summary of what Jurassic park is is going to be about , I don't know if I should laugh , facepalm or maybe both

Just when you thought there were no more fantastic, original ideas floating around Hollywood, I give you the latest Jurassic Park IV rumor. According to Bloody Disgusting, Universal is now going through the process of casting for the fourth installment in Steven Spielberg's dino-mite (heh, get it?) franchise. So far Laura Dern has confirmed that she will indeed reprise her role as Dr. Ellie Sattler, while Sam Neill has decided not to touch this piece of dinosaur feces with a ten foot pole. Same goes for Jurassic Park III helmer Joe Johnston. And the plot? The "plot!" Brace yourselves folks, because this one might sting a bit. Here, I'll let BD break the news: "We're told that the film is about the government who has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes."

Um, wow. So are they trying to say that a Velociraptor isn't dangerous enough on its own -- that the thing needs to carry a missile launcher too?! I understand the need to up the ante a bit (because the whole "Oh no, we're lost in a jungle full of dinosaurs" gig has kind of run its course), but do they really think that giving a Tyrannosaurus rex a machine gun ... I can't even complete the sentence without wanting to hit something. Holy crap is this premise absurd. Let me guess: At first, the dinosaurs are kicking some terrorist bunbun ... until -- oh no! -- they turned on everyone, and pointed their weapons at us! Damn it, I knew we shouldn't have given that Dilophosaurus a grenade launcher. Damn it. Apparently, William Monahan (The Departed) wrote the latest draft, and I assume we can expect Jurassic Park IV to stampede into theaters (guns drawn) sometime in late 2008 or summer of 2009.
