The Dresden Dolls - Self-Titled: Crazy! This album sounds like a demented musical. It's mostly piano, drums, and manic female singing.

Ai Yori Aoshi #3: Ah yes, sappy romance and beautiful girls. :wub:
Mahoromatic #1: So formulaic... so lovable! Manga does strange love so well. :P

I tecnically don't own these yet, but there on the way! :D

The Essential Clash - Basically I heard 2 Japanese covers of thier songs that rocked (Gelugugu - London Calling and PENPALS - I Fought The Law) so I decided to check them out!

Samurai Jack season 1 - I like Samuari Jack, but never get to watch it! DVDs will solve that! XD

I recently got the Azumanga tv OST 1, and I love it ^_^

In other news, I also lost the 3 or 4 Jamiraquai albums i had :(

Sterophonics--You've Gotta Go There To Come Back: I heard a copy of this album from my friend, and when he said "These can be like the next Beatles", my curiosty perked up considerably, especially when I bought my copy of this England based band. Some awesome stuff on there, especially the song "Rainbows and Pots of Gold".

Green Lantern #176: The most underrated superhero of all time is my all time favorite title. This month, the hero returns home after spending the better part of a year out in space playing Wyatt Earp. Expecting a homecoming, he finds out his girlfriend has been cheating on him and that he's been replaced on the Justice League. That's the least of his worries, as one of his deadliest enemies gets paroled from prison...

The Further Adventures of Xena: Warrior Princess: A collection of short stories featuring chracters from the television show. Some great, some bad.

Van Helsing movie tie-in action figures: First day out, I bout up all of the main characters :D

If you were bored with the first five or so episodes, don't worry! It starts to pick up around Episode 6 and gets pretty hardcore around Episode 11.

That's what they run on! :D

It's a proven fact that fanservice is good for the PC and humans. :o ;)

No wonder my computers so slow! :o

how bad is the fanservice?
Is it more like Chobits or Mahoro/Midori?

It's not too heavy on fanservice... and it haves mechas! You can't say no to that combination!

I have only watched the first episode, but if the fanservice would be tantamount or greater than the level present in Mahoromatic or Midori no Hibi, I will have a very hard time looking for opportunities to watch it alone.

I was at ACen, and I'll count that as recent... so here is a lot of Azumanga stuff that conspired to kill my wallet:
- Both Azumanga OSTs
- Tribute to Azumanga
- Azumanga 2003 calendar (I'll wait until it's useful again)
And three things I got free:

Episode 4 of Love Hina, which is where Keitaro is discovered not being in Tokyo U. Pretty funny, and hints at the possibility that Naru might be the girl he made his promise to.

JSA (Justice Society of America) #61: Part 2 of the "Redemption Lost" storyline, in which the Spectre (The Spirit of Vengeance and most recently the Spirit of Redemption) has lost redemption and those he once cast to hell are now walking the earth, leaving it up to the original superteam to save the day, but they are finding the walking dead a bit more difficult than a common thug. Plus, an old enemy who left a big hole in the JSA roster years earlier comes back to haunt them.
