Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto a.k.a. "That Samurai Show" is kinda wearing thin for me. I tried to watch the most recent subbed episode 3 times and fell asleep each time. I've seen Okita Souji get sick and die so many times now in so many different anime it's lost all meaning.

ha, that's certainly not a good reccomendation. "I can't really say if the show itself was good because I fell asleep repeatedly." I stopped watching it a bit back, myself, but that's my thing :P

Ep 5 is high-action, and 7 and 8 have cliffhanger parts. It might be that it's picking up speed after the initial few eps, considering there are actually villains in the picture now.
Or it might slow down again. Who can say? ^^
There are things suggested or promised for later that are enough to keep my interest, though. 9 looks (from 8's preview) like it may explain that business Vita flashbacked to in the manga, and if my instincts are right there should be a rather interesting enemy turn up at some point...

It's pretty bad. I watched the 1st episode, and then deleted that and the 2nd episode of it. It's a meh idea, but it's pretty boring.
