Title: The Azumanga Q+A page at Wonderland fansite
Description: Where'd it go?

Minazuki - March 14, 2005 03:21 AM (GMT)
Does anyone know about the Azumanga Daioh question and answer page that is on the Wonderland fansite? How were people able to submit their questions before? Why isn't that an option anymore? It looks like tons of fun. It's not on there! Will it ever be back up on the site?

Apparently the questions weren't getting where they needed to go, so it's "temporarily" down while Osaka fixes it.

Temporarily in quotes because the site languishes. :P

That's the thing that first attracted me to Wonderland.

If you know how to fix it, please fill me in because I don't. :3

I? I know nothing. It might involve typing, but I'm not sure. :embarassed:

...maa... that thing probably consumes a lot of Administrator-sama's time though, and is probably somewhat stressful....

Minazuki - March 14, 2005 04:21 AM (GMT)
My friend and I looked over the questions. They're nothing but hilarious. But...we really wish the page was back online.....

She outsources the work out of country.

And if you think I'm kidding, I'm not. I did seven pages myself. :P

I saw credits with your name on them in the site. ^_^

I really would like to get the Q&A section back up and running again, but I'm really out of ideas at this point. :( Does anyone here know how to use form mail?

Oh, and moved.

I don't, but I know people who might. I will do some asking.

As I'm in the web design business-thingy, I might be able to fix it. What exactly is the error or problem?

Having a look at the page itself might help as well.

No promises, but you never know...... ^_^

Oh, and moved.

What do you mean by ideas? Can't you just try to fix the page and leave it as it is?

...if she could and/or wanted to do that, she would have done so.

Just a thought, but has anyone tried making a Q&A thread that we can play with until the submission page gets back up? o.o

‚ê‚¢‚© ‚Ì ‚Ä‚ñ‚µ - March 15, 2005 02:12 AM (GMT)
...hm... another idea is to just submit questions on a thread somewhere and have volunteers (or Administrator-sama herself) answer them, and, afterwards, Administrator-sama posts them on the site. or not.

if it does work out, despite my utter ignorance, i would like to volunteer. unless i am not allowed to.

Kyle - March 15, 2005 02:30 AM (GMT)
I have an idea for this but I need to talk with Anna :S

Someone suggested this a while ago, and that we post the answers to the questions anonymously because it's more fun that way. I tried to set it up but unfortunately I wasn't able to allow anonymous posting because it isn't allowed elsewhere on the forums.

Anyway, I'll see what Kyle's suggestion is before I decide anything. :)

What might be a good idea in that case is if someone makes a thread, then Osaka or a mod creates accounts for each character (getting as close to the original name as possible without infringing on current users names), then they give the password to a few people that want to answer questions, and those people can do so, granted that they follow the rules of having these Q&A accounts (not posting anywhere else, answering questions on a regular basis, etc.). After a while, mods could change the password and give them to some more people.

It might be too much work, but it's a thought. :)

That thought had ocurred to me too and it sounds like it would work, as long as people didn't go around changing the passwords on others. Though I suppose even then I could always change them back.

The only thing wrong with that is the askers are limited to registered forum members. My idea was to create an email box (ask_azu@schala.net or something similar) and post a link on the website, that way everyone gets a chance to ask questions. Answering questions could be handled in the same manner as before. Of course, this being such a simple solution, I'm sure someone else has already thought of it and has a reason why it won't work.

^_^ I think it would work but I am not a very smart person so I don't think my opinion stands very much. It seems like it would work perfect and sooooo I am saying it sounds like a good idea.
