Putting all the Prelude meets aside of myself and others consuming large amounts of chicken wings and/or paralyzers, we had a pretty good showing of Preludes out there at our first official prelude meet. Hopefully this is just the start and it will grow even bigger in time. A few of us went recruiting and hopefully if we didnt come off as complete wankers (like i usually do) they'll join up too. It was good to meet a lot of you in person so we can now put a face to the names/nicknames.
Some people were asking about the site and why have a web forum. Basically its just to create a small community so that we have more buying power (the more money you drop at one place the better the deals u can get), and also help each other out technically (ixnay on the ilencersay) as we all share the same car we will likely encounter similar problems (sorry prelude97... i dont know what the hell that brake noise is :P). I didnt see many 5th gens with JDM fogs, so hopefully we can get a groupbuy happening with that soon.
Anyway, I would like to keep this site quite dynamic as i find that some of the other canadian prelude sites quite stale in terms of usefulness and creativity, so if anyone wants to pitch in and help with some aspect of the site just let me know, whether it be moderating when we get more users, or doing simple html.

I must say that I was pleasently surprised by the turnout last night. Hopefully we'll be able to do this again very soon with a little more time to talk to everyone. My appologies for not introducing myself to everyone...just didn't have the time. Maybe next meet we can sit down for some eats and chill or plan something a little more entertaining.
I hope, just like jer, that the site evolves into a great resource for us prelude owners in Winnipeg. It was great seeing everyone out last night.
