Could any of you 4th gen owners tell me if getting an SR-V is worth it?
Are the leather seats hot in summer and cold in winter, i get mixed reactions from my frinds and their leather seats.
And the V-tec how many actually take the revs up that high on a regular basis?
Also gas wise what kinda mileage does the SR-V and SR get?
I go a good distance everyday for school so im wondering which model would be better suited for me and the most practical.
Thanks

well its worth every penny u spend on an sr-v or sr..

true the leather tends to get hot in summer.. but all leather interior car gets hot, not to menthin it comes wid heated seat, heated mirrors, el gagues, come to the next meet (this sunday) i'll let u check out my sr-v

as for revving.. no one rev high less they are racing..

one reason i got a lude was cuz when i took it for a test drive to me it was "love at first sight" its a gotta have!... :hellzya:

i agree at the love at first site.. but just be careful when buying... last owner of my car had the wrong size clutch in so it burnt out pretty fast (slipping)... and also my car was probably repainted at some point and now its flaking off (at least my rear bumper)... the SR and SR-V are both great options... if you want an SR i would probably still consider an older one if the KM are low... mine still runs great... and has just enough power that i dont get in trouble that often :ninja:

also if u buy older gives you more room to mod/personalize ur ride :hellzya:

Yea i love my 90 lude, thats why i want another. As far as El gauges, didnt they become standard in 94?

And as far as the meet i can make it, im going up to The Pas for 2 weeks on monday. So i gotta pack and spend "quality time" with the "wife".

greenz00 - July 4, 2003 05:27 AM (GMT)
yes the el gagues comes standard from 94-96

their really sweet :hellzya: :hellzya:

Yeah, whether you go for a SR or SR-V you'll be happy. Depends on how much performance means to you. V-tec is sweet to have if you can afford it. If you want good gas mileage stay below 5400 rpm and then when you want to have some fun, just crack it open. The pull over 5k is amazing and its something i can't go without now. Either way you won't be dissapointed, but personally i'd go for an SR-V.
