BEWARE OF THE SPEEDTRAP ON KENASTON.. its close to wilkes. I got a hefty fine of $170 bucks there last night.. anyone have any experience with fighting these?

my bro fought against a speeding ticket before but he lost.
only fight against it if you have a good reason for speeding....like your house is on fire, you forgot some pills that you have to take or you'll die, etc....

110 is an 80.. but damn it was 1230 and kenaston was just dead. thats right by my house and everyone i know goes that speed at night.. the po-po are going to have lots of success if they stay there.

what kinda cop car caught you speeding? a grand marquis type or a chevy impala? chevy impala's are the type of cruisers to cruise around the city while the other just chills at a spot and waits for speeders.

i have never seen them there...theyre usually by waverly and bishop grandin!!! but damn 170?! hmmm...better be careful now cause i havent gotten one in a long while...

it was a grand marquis type.. i dont know how im gonna fight it. i had a ticket a few years back of only 15km over in a 50 and they didnt cut me any slack. they figure... 'hes just some punk kid.. lets teach him a lesson'

Well, here's a couple bits of information. I plead ignorance on one of my tickets and said I never saw the posted limit but I was only going 72 in a 50 and I said I was going 60 and thought it was a 60. I got my ticket reduced in half. I know several people that I used to work with would get a letter from their boss that said they were on an emergency call and they were able to get off. Of course it usually only works if you told the officer that you were going to that emergency call.

Also be aware of license plates beginning with AEC ### those are government registered cars but most of them are police cars. Another good way to spot unmarked cars is to check out the wheels. They usually have black steel rims on them and not the fancy alloys that come with those impalas.

not all cop cars have aec license plates. also, the cops in the chevy impala sometimes wear blue (not navy) jackets over their uniform. when they come out of their car, it says police on the rear of their jacket. when it's a guy/girl combo in the impala, beware!! you don't even know if they're just regular citizens or cops! cops are tricky these days.

cops are not hot. cops are fuckin' lame. I know they aren't just AEC but those are the most common, I used to have a compiled list on my old PC but I have no idea where it went. Some unmarked cars are AEB ### and there are some really odd ones, in total there are about 7 different combos to look for. If I can find the list I shall post it on here.

cops are just doing their job. don't be all bitter at them just cause you got a speeding ticket, hehe

i feel you on that ticket i got one too a month ago now i guess about yesterday i got pull over for having clear sides damn these pigs just dont have anything better to do he was so rude and it makes me sick because hes out to protect us and he treated like a criminal just because they were'nt reflective amber lenses and when i was trying to explain something to him he just walked away and in a treatning voice dont let me catch you again maybe i should carry a video recorder from now on just in case huh what the hell crazy pigs :pissed: :pissed:

Cops should be protecting people, but they don't. Our city has the most incidence of murders per capita in all of canada, our city already has some of the largest number of police presence and it doesn't change anything.

Unless you have lots of money, you don't mean shit. The cops need cash to operate, they should be serving those of us that pay their wages. (yes, I'm aware of the irony that they pay their own wages through taxes too) Quotas are a joke. The fact that they are required to make an allotted amount of cash from parking tickets, speeding tickets, parking fines, is ridiculous.

I had a friend disapear last year and they assign one cop to the case, one guy who doesn't even do missing peoples because they coincidentally don't even have a missing persons department. He's a cop that does sexual assault cases, and several other non revenue-generating cases.

Doesn't anyone find it weird that graffiti, computer hacking and public mischief charges can send people to jail for longer periods then people who kill a fellow human being? A dead person doesn't create revenue. Anything that causes someone to have any monetary loss is dealt with harshly?

So in todays world money is more important that human life. I cannot support anyone who works in such a despicable industry. Also note that I respect the law, I don't break it but I do hate it. That's why after being pulled over 3 times in the last 3 years for no reason and dealing with asshole cops has soured me so much.
