Description: Record-breaking News

Yesterday, Leon attended the opening ceremony of "McDonald's World Children's Day" as Unicef Special Representative to Youth to witness 1950 volunteers using sign language to sing the song "Give Children Warm Love", breaking the Guinness World Records. As Leon did not practise the sign language beforehand, so he only did the last movement. Leon, who had visited Xinjiang earlier, will be returning to Xinjiang again in November on Unicef mission.

Recently, while Edison Chan and Shawn Yue were promoting "Infernal Affairs 2" in Taiwan, they commented that Leon's image seemed to be incompatible with the series of "Infernal Affairs" movies. Edison Chan even pointed out that in "Infernal Affairs 3" trailer, Leon's image was too bright and that he was more like filming a commercial than a movie. After the news reports were out, many Leon fans were very angry and faxed to news agencies to criticise Edison Chan for saying such things. However, Leon did not really believe that Edison would say such things, and he believe that there could be some misunderstandings. He said, "Maybe everyone has different interpretations, besides I don't know how far the reports are from the facts."

Leon also questioned how come Edison would say that, "How did he comment? He haven't seen the movie. Even I haven't even seen the trailer, and the director also haven't finished filming. As for how did I perform in the movie, you have to ask the director. We are the actors of the same movie, only for different episodes. I believe that everyone will unite to do a job well and work hard together for the movie. Therefore I have no reason to believe the he would say such things." Leon also said that he would not go to the trouble to understand the whole matter, because Leon would not do things that are unrelated to his job and have no benefits to himself and everyone. Asked whether he felt that his own image was too bright? He said, "As an artiste, you are bound to be criticise from head to toe, every year there are different news, I will only be myself."

Andy Lau once said that he hoped to sing the theme song of "Infernal Affairs 3" together with Tony Leung and Leon, Leon felt that there should be no problem, if the boss Peter Lam wanted it. He also said that the boss of "Heroic Duo" actually wanted him to sing its theme song, but later felt that it was not very suitable and therefore, it was not used, he felt that it does not matter.

On the other hand, there would be a charity show in Beijing which involves Sony singers, it was rumoured that Leon would not attend because his contract with Sony was ending. Leon said that it was only because he did not have the time, not because of the contract.
