Okay so I'm over at this forum and I don't know what took over me - I was probably drunk at that time, but I posted up a clip of me singing a karaoke song. So I'm thinking that maybe we can all have a K contest. If not a K contest, then a me just singing a Leon song and u guys guessing which one it is. Okay, let me know before I become sober and sane and regret this. :D

It's a nice idea but no one seemed very keen when I suggested it a while ago plus I've been recording a couple of clips and they all sound really horrible XD What is an easy Leon song to sing anyway?

haha, I wish I could join the karaoke too, but can't sing in chinese, the easy song is probaly the Sasoluto, you think???

thats what I'm thinking too...a lot of his songs are difficult to sing..and I think the lyrics are hard to master....'cause you know some songs are just easier to memorize and read. ^^x

k seriously now. some easy songs i would say are...BABA, age of flight (from IICSYA album), and if you know mandarine then "no one but me," just a misunderstanding...i dunno i think the rest are pretty hard. try "you are my friend", "love two worlds in one second", chorus of "happy 2000" :P , and....yeah.

i still have no idea how to control my voice though so :P

Ah M, this is the greatest fun I had the whole day, to hear you sing over the Internet. Bravo, bravo for the attempt. I could not even imagine myself being so brave as to sing aloud let alone be in a contest.

You can find sound recorders at http://www.download.com I'm using GoldWave but it takes a bit of time to understand the controls and you do need to connect a mic to your computer to record the sound.
Do you have an ISP? Should have some free webspace with it otherwise you could try http://www.geocities.com or http://www.250free.com (you might wanna convert it to a smaller sized file when saving the clip).

Ah M, I went into download.com and got audiolib MP3 and while it records my voice clearly, it doesn't pick up the background karaoke from the TV. Which program did you download that allowed you to include the track's music on it.
We had so much fun listening to our 30 seconds horror on the computer today. :D

he wanted to sing it himself but since he doesn't know chinese, had to pick an english song for him to sing but he kinda likes that song anyway :)

no need to download anything else, just put the disc in your computer, open it up in windows media player (might have to select different audio channels) and record. i'm sure it's not that bad! :lol:

i got some dj software but right now i'm just mixiing in weird sounds ainto slow LL songs. for example: really loud barking sounds and techno sounds mixed into "eyes can't lie". i do'nt know how to add my voice though o.0
