KIAN EGAN’s girlfriend JODI ALBERT has changed her mobile phone number eight times — to dodge scary nuisance calls from jealous girl stalkers.

Crazed fans of the Westlife hunk keep getting hold of the Hollyoaks actress’s number and tormenting her over her romance with the Irish singer.

Her best mate Michelle Barber, who sang in Jodi’s former band GIRL THING, told me: “Jodi is a complete nightmare to get in touch with on the phone because she is always changing her mobile number.

“She’s changed it eight times lately because she feels really scared about it getting into the hands of the wrong people.

“She’s had terrible trouble with a series of stalkers who just wouldn’t leave her alone.

“They would keep calling her and it totally freaked her out.

“She found that the only way to get rid of them was to change her phone number. But this has now become a bit of a habit.”

Westlife’s army of fans obsess about the boy band and often go to extreme lengths to to try and get near them.

Last week two girls hid all day in a cramped cupboard at London nightclub 10 Room in a bid to spring out on their idols but were rumbled before their dream came true.

Despite the pressures of fame, though, Kian and Jodi remain besotted.

Jodi’s pal Michelle adds: “They flirted with each other for years before they got together.

“There has always been a real spark between them.

“And now they are together, they make a really fantastic couple.

“Kian is absolutely committed to Jodi and I know that Jodi has never been happier than she is now that she is with him.”

Poor girl. I don't undestand how people can be so mean, well I understand how to be mean but to that point to torment her like that... It drives me mad to see that some people can't just let others be happy.

I've changed my number too, but that was just coz I gave up having a phone n then l8er realized how impossible that made it for my m8s 2 get in touch with me, since sumtimes I'm hardly home at all, for weeks.

I werent lost without mine, but I grew tired of every1 complaining that they could never get hold of me, n there was this special offer where u'd get a phone, a number, a limited wl cd, n a special wl box, soo how could I not buy it when I had the money? ;)
