The last bead of sweat rolled down Mardonius's face as he was released from Luther's grasp. "Theank the Emperor..." he whispered to himself. He picked up the bolter and chainsword, and readied to fire a shot at the magus.

Luthor takes no wounds his toughness saves him
Paco takes 3 wounds set on fire additional 5 wounds
Kreugor takes 1 wound set on fire additional 4 wounds

Those set on fire have to find water to put it out or take d6 wounds each turn after 2 turns 50% chance of permanent injury
after 3 90% chance of gaining the grim visage skill

Luthor is unable to move mardonius so strikes at him with his weapon ignoring the flames that spew around him but all his attacks miss

Felicity paco and kreugor or need to decide what there going to do now(run for water or stay and fight)

Mardonius attempts to knoe luthor out (10 % chance, and failed willpower test)

As general telkerer stides onto the deck he looks each of the new recruits in the eye before takeing the podium and beggining his speech.

Reviewing the map again, Dominus made sure to note where everything was. As he walked out, he picked up the Melta Bombs that had been left for him for this very mission and followed the Battle Brother.

" before you go you must decide whether you wish to attack at night or during the day after you have decided you may leave.

I vote that we attack at night and gain the element of suprise.

Felicity grins, saying "Let the tanks walk in front, then they can get shot"
"I vote for a nighttime attack too, that way we can get in and out before they even notice, and it'll be easier to take out the sentries for me. Or does one of the tank boys feel stealthy today?"

Before he could give his answer, Luther started to talk once more 'Right we could split into several groups, ones with more stealth will attack the sides and attack during the night, I for one disagree with them, were giving these chaos scum more time we should attack right away, give no quarter though i will Attack when needed if my opinion is not heeded.

Standing against the wall was the Ultramarine. He observed and listened to the brief carefully, and now chose to speak.

"Indeed. We need to know more. Do we have an estimate on the numbers? Do we know what legion they are from? I'd hate to fight at night against a Nigh Lords legion. That aside, perhaps we can time it to attack just before a sentry change?"

"These are mere cultists there are none of the traitors there, as for numbers i know not, prehaps feklicity if she agrees can do some recconaisance, before you attack that is of course up to you"

'We should send a scouting party to look at the sentry changes and then make our move though once we find out thier numbers we should strike fast and hard '<smashes his armoured fist on the table> Also he mutters something to himself ................... others look towards him, 'pay no heed to me the chaos are the ones to look out for'

"Don't spook out on us in the middle of the fight tank-boy..."
" I can try and get a sneak peak in, that shouldn't be a problem. A pair of infragoggles would come in handy now, though I think I can do without if necessary. Anyone else feel like sneaking around or will I be going in alone?"

We have no infra goggles on board with us at the moment sorry, if any others were to go with you i suggest kreuger as the others are to conspicuous

OOC: I'm adapting a bit to the environment. If possible, I move in close thanks to the camo cloak, or I'll pose as a local. If any of the cultists seems interested , I try to seduce him and get some info. If I can't see enough about the switching of the guars etc. I'm trying this too. I'm NOT going into the compound on my own, no matter what. If he tries to force me, I'll try and take him out without too much noise (kissing him while slicing his throat should work ;) )

I'm not taking stupid risk either....

Felicity walks back in at about 1500.

"There are 4 guards and one pristly looking dude, the magus spends most of his time on the second floor and there are always two guards at the main gate they are armed with laspitols and swords no armour, and an alarm bell if the guards at front get in trouble. There's also a girl being held prisoner..."

" We need to take out those suckers in front quickly ans silently, or they'll probably sac the girl to whatever they worship. I suggest taking out the 2 boys at the main gate first first, and then we just set up and rush in, going straight for the freaks guarding the girl. Cover my back while I'm rushing in, I'll probably be way ahead of the.. ahum...heavier... folks around here. Any of you guys have something to add? The other alternative I see is scragging the two in front and waiting for the watch to change to take out two addtional guards without too much trouble."

"I like the first one. How should we go about "rushing in"? After we take out the two guards, we can run in with guns blazing...or someone can get me access to a Razorback, and we can rush my way." No one in the room would have seen the smile behind his helmet, but it was obvious that it was there. "Of course, you could go in as stealthily as you want. You and Dominus can get inside while we 'heavier' marines can make one helluva distraction - if you need it.

Everyone ive just recieved a new recruit for our unit his names paco ans his a space wolf so dont' look him in the eye he should be arriving shortly

After exchaning words with his new commander, he walks over to his new squad mates to introduce himself.

"I'm not sure how much the commander has told u about me but I am the newest recurit. I am specially trained in Vehicles in Air and Sea. I also have my vehicle engineering degree. My specialties might make me look sort of a support role but dont you guys worry, I aint afraid to fight side by side any of you since I know your the best since you were selected.

I was quickly briefed on my way here but was told the mission plan was still waiting to be decided but to be ready ASAP for combat, and I am!! So where do u need me, commander?"

Luther begans to talk ' Right, 2 men near a alarm.... Felicity take whoever you want to to get rid of them, Seduce them and lead them into an ambush while i will accomply anyone with a vehicile(sp) and then when the door opens we shall fire upon them fire first ask questions later'

'And space wolve, welcome to the squad.' with that the towering Grey knight checks his Storm Bolter and loads some Hell fire rounds.

"In that case I suggest Dominus puts himself nearby, and maybe a third person who can kill his opponent silently too just to make sure, and I'll lure the two guards away fom the alarm bell and near them. Then we scrag'em :D . If we have acces to a vehicle, maybe you boys should try coming trough the wall on our opposite side, 14 defenders is a lot if they are allowed to stay in group, and there's also the magus to worry about. I'd rather not get my brain fried by some Wyrd. As soon as we've taken down the two guards, Dominus and I will post ourselves by the door and await the signal. I guess something crashing through the wall could count as a signal B) . And let's not forget about the girl either, I'd rather have her survive this, maybe she has vauable info...2200 sound like a nice hour of attack to you boys?"

OOC: can we have a slightly bigger map of the temple and its environments or are we allowed to proceed like this? And do I know where exactly the girl is being held captive?

its like this ok, most of the guards and the magus are downstairs if you kill the two guards at the top before they sound the alarm the others wont know. If you proceed downstairs you will meet the other defenders, The girl was seen being thrown into the dungeon, wheater she will still be there or taken downstairs depends on how soon you attack, Im sorry i did not explain this better. There are no vehcles at this point.

I offer my services to rescue the girl....

Colonel cal smiles so so far the plan is for kreuger and felicity to take the guards at the door Mardonius and luthor get in to plant explosives and paco is going to save the girl, is this right?

kreuger take the guards out though, felicity you disable the Alarm then catch them in a Crossfire.. Paco take who you must and save the girl, I will destroy the Magus and end this Chaos site.

"So to recap: Dominus and I take out the guards, and if we can't get a razorback we just go through the main gate guns blazing. Or could we spare a melta bomb to get throught the wall anyway? I'd really like to set up a crossfire."

Well Felicity and Domious you two will attack guards and make an enterence at the side of the complex while myself and the Ultramarine and space wolf will take the front door ' Foul creatures of chaos shall bow before me.... though not to fast <stumbles> the Grey knight as he fell towards the wall as he lost balance.

Regaining his stature the Knight look towards the rest of the party and said ' Let's began the attack at once.

Alright, let's move out...Lead the way....

OOC I'm leading the way, posting the others two streets away because they'll get noticed too easily and proceeding further with Dominus. I'll hide him in an alley behind a dumpster or on a first floor. Then I'll go and try seducing the guards into following into the alley. A girl wants some privacy now, right ? ;)

Assuming I hid Dominus behind a dumpster, I'm kissing the guard ( so he doesn't pay attention to his surroundings)and drawing him into the alley, just past Dominus. Then I'm stabbing him while Dominus can stab him in the back at the same time.

Dominus does not have a hand weapon so hell have to use his pistol as one, as soon as Khrangar posts his actions ill do the combat

Can't I have noticed that before? Or that he told me this before I left? I was assuming everyone would be smart enough to have a knife...

If it's allowed, I'll let him borrow my sword, otherwise, he'll just have to make sure he doesn't accidentally fire his gun or something.
