I'm experimenting with this list at the moment, and was hoping for some good advice on ways it could be improved. Basic idea is that I have three main blocks of troops to do the damage, whilst everything else is either diversionary or there for flanking purposes.
Strigoi Count (Lvl 2). Curse of the Revenant, Summon Ghouls, Iron Sinews. (340 pts) #Goes with the larger unit of zombies#
Strigoi Thrall. Infinite Hatred, Iron Sinews. (130 pts) #Goes with the Skeletons#
Wraith. Great weapon, Cursed Book. (140 pts) #Goes with the Grave Guard#
Necromancer (Lvl 1). 2 Dispel Scrolls. (115 pts) #Will hide somewhere and generate the extra dispel dice#
20 Skeletons. Hand weapons, shields, standard, musician. (175 pts)
24 Zombies. Hand weapons, standard, musician. (159 pts)
16 Zombies. Hand weapons. (96 pts)
5 Ghouls. Ghast. (50 pts)
5 Ghouls. (40 pts)
6 Dire Wolves. Doom wolf. (70 pts)
20 Grave Guard. Halberds, shields, heavy armour, full command, Banner of Doom. (380 pts)
5 Black Knights. Lances, heavy armour, shields, barded nightmares. (125 pts)
Banshee. (90 pts)
Banshee. (90 pts)
TOTAL :2000 pts dead on (pun intended;) )
I know it is magic light, which is why I included the Necro as some magic defence. Hopefully enough will survive to get across the table and manage combined charges to break the enemy with rank-negation. Worth a try, or complete tripe?

I like it but i must say three things:
1) Why is your lord wasted on the zombies, or is he there to make them good?
2) Wraiths are a bit pants, i would go for a white lord with the blade that gives him killing blow on 5+
3)only 5 black knights? im surprised, are they ment to be a diversion? if so aren't they a bit expensive. why not use wolves?
Lord wasted on the zombies? The zombies provide the ranks, standard and outnumber, and the Count provides the kills. The theory is there for a decent close combat unit.
The wraith is there because I have never used one and wanted to have a go.
The Black Knights are intended as a flanking force. 5 S6 attacks and negating rank bonuses is worth it IMHO. And if they get shot to bits, well that doesn't matter because they aren't integral to my battle plan!
