Hi, just wondering if anyone even plays empire. Seeing by the posts not many here.. :mellow:

I play them but they are more of a secondary army for me so I tend to concentrate on my Chaos Army.

I think some people here play Empire as a second army. We did have HailSigmar, but he doesn't seem to post here anymore.

I play Empire, but I mainly play High Elves if you post anything in the empire section, I'll gladly reply to it ;)

No not really all armies are equal with different strengths and weaknesses if I was going to say anything I'd say empire was one of the weakest.

I've just started building an Imperial Ostlander army! At least, I'll paint the ones I've got (from the WFB starter set) and I'll probably buy more things!

The Empire is so flexible it can adapt to almost anything.............u line em up an I'll knock em down..........any race at all.
It's tactics that win a battle not picking the most powerfull army and units.

I am starting an Empire army, to go with my main army of High Elves :wub: , I would do chaos but their are far to many new chaos armies at the moment, so I will wait a bit.

I have an empire army about 2500pt but i'm new to warhammer(long history see it in HE forum for now if you want...) and i have played only 500pt battles with a friend i think they're good because you can use almost every tactic with them...but i think that like HE to use them the right way(is better "to use them properly"?Forgive me but i'm not english) ,you have to be a good "Stratego".
I have 5 armies but i don't know yet which is really my first one...i tought lizards because they were the first that i have painted but i'm not sure...

The Empire player in our group used to use it as his main army, recently he's switched to the Cult of Ulric army list and has been playing it. I see many new players playing Empire.

Every army benefits from a good leader but the empire HAVE too have one to be effective.
the troops are reasonable in almost every way......there are few 'super' troops that can take on a unit by itself.........(steam tank is an example of a super unit).
so a good leader is essential to play Empire. Used properly an Empire army will crush the oppisition......as they are so versatile.....
