I play the Von Carstein bloodline mainly because of the Sylvania list but sometimes the normal list (depending on opponents).
Does anyone have a great magic item and blood line powers combination that they use on their Von Carstein Lord/Count that they can share with me? It can include the new bloodline powers from the Sylvania list.
I usually like to incorporate a ward save so that my army general is not vunerable, this usually comes from the ring of the night, but i have never come up with the perfect set of items. If some of the items you choose work along with a strategy please share those as well. Thanks for any help.

Chill wind can be useful 2 against for example dwarves and other races with a lot of ranged weapons

Unless I am mistaken, Chill Wind is a spell from the 'Dark Lore' which can only be taken by Dark Elves, not Vampire Counts. So it seems a bit strange to talk about it in the middle of a discussion about Vampire Counts.

I think he means call winds, the bloodline power.....
only it is a great mistake in word choice.....
