Hi all, after lurking around for quite a while I've gone over on posting on this part of the forum. My mate and me are both starting a new army, he Skaven and I chose to go for Sylvanian. Having decided that, I came up with a 500 points list. Keep in mind that I am totally new to the Undeath, so pointers and tips will all be very welcome.
Thrall *goes with Levy*
Flayed Hauberk
Ad. Hand weapon
20 Levy
Musician
Standard Bearer
5 Fell Bats
8 Dire Wolves
10 Graveguard
full command
Shred it to pieces :thumb:

The only thing I would change would be the size of your units, the dire wolves to 5 (you would only use them as flankers anyway) and the fell bats to 3. Then you would have around 70 points left to spend.

Those 70 pints could go to a wight and a cheap item to strenthen a second unit
CyA

I dunno, I'm playing against Skaven and probably will be facing a least one rattling gun and a lot of slings, which is the reason for taking the large number of Bats and Wolves. I'll ponder over it for a couple of days, thanks for the advice though. Keep it coming.

if this is a border patrol force then you cannot get a wight as only one charactor is allowed.
personaly i would go for some gouls (2 poisoned attacks each). you shouldent have to much of a problem agaised skaven anyway (low leadership and warriors as bad as ours.)

How do you plan on protecting the grave guard? I mean, they're good aim practice for those rattlers..
Good list otherwise I'd say.

I was hoping that their small number would get them ignored.....
Anyways, thanks for all the input and advice. I'm playing my friend the 3rd of October, so I'll opst again to tell the result and my lessons.

They won't get ignored! They're the perfect target for a rattler, something small and expensive. The only thing I'd target over them is a lone thrall wandering around close.

Argh! I just re-read the rules for the Ratling gun and Swedishviking, you are absolutely right. They'll get blasted to the other side of the board with some lucky dice rolls.
I'm off to re-write my list (I wasn't able to buy everything I needed so some pondering has to be done).
