ok i dont have the warhammer rulebook but next week im buying i bought a box of clanrats to check out the models
and before i equip wepaons i was wondering whats beter point wise whats the best combination for a clan rat regiment
i know i need a muscian and clawleader but what about standard bearers and spears

First off, you'll definantly need the rulebook ASAP. Once you get that, most(if not all) of your questions will be answered.

Clanrats are usually only good in large, cheap groups, so a clawleader might just be a waste(usually is), unless you want him to take challenges. Same thing goes for muscicians. But the standard can really add more to combat resolution.

Full command, 30 strong, hand weapon and sheilds and then another unit with spears as well

I have 30, full command, spears, shields and all the armor and pointy bits i can get!
