Does anyone else think that if anovel is written and endorsed by the games workshop it should be added into the fluff like deamon slayer they get the hammer of fate nback now i want to see that in the game don't you?

Heres my made up one

M rune of flight
M rune of skalf blackhammer
3 runes of luck
rune of might

This is using existing runes though not existing rune rules but its made by grugni we can have some leeway

I dont know about new weapons and armour, it would be nice to counter some of the new and nasty stuff that GW keep throwing at us. All I'd like are some official figures for the cast of the Slayer series. Yes I know you can get Felix and Gotrek but I'm on about Snorri, Max, Ulrika and Malakai. Judging by the sales of the books, the characters should go down a storm, might even have a go at converting some, but it still isn't the same as original figures.

I agree snorris cool. i like how gotrek told him he was a fool for attacking the blood thirster without any rune items but would of done the same thing.

That would make a good diaroma, dont you think, with Snorri being batterd by a bloodthirster and Felix and Gotrek ready to join in whilst surrounded by dwarves and deamons. A possible Golden Demon entry ( if I get round to it)

Kingphesphestus - June 17, 2003 11:26 AM (GMT)
that would be pretty cool.
You know what else i would like that bazzka that malakaison(sp?) has and the air ship too i mean how awesome would that be to have in your army and it could let gyrocoptors out and stuff. We can dream can't we

If you wanted to you could make up the rules for an airship, the dwarves used to have a model for it, can't remember if it was citadel or marauder or what, but it might be useful in an alternative dwarf list. If the empire can have steam tanks then why cant we have airbourne aircraft carriers? I'm now thinking of doing a dwarf army based on the Dogs Of War rules, ie using the stats for the different units but using dwarf models. It would save having to make up balanced rules as they already exist and you can field exotic, converted models legally. Just like my dwarven cavalry which I still haven't got round to completing, portable cannons, airbourne dwarves in hang gliders etc.

I think it is in warmaster that model could be wrong though

I thought that they only released gyrocopters for Warmaster. Anyway there were some unofficial models done of dwarven airships over the years but I never managed to get my hands on one. But in a few years you never know one might pop up from forgeworld, have you seen the new forgeworld dragon yet? Its massive. Check out the website that I told you about and it has a few links as well as the new army list from GW. I'll PM you if you cant find it, just let us know! ;)
