I've never actually played in a tournament before. I've only played against friends. I have some questions about the army list and what would be considered 'unsportsmanlike'.
This is the army list I use against friends. It usually does pretty well :) . What changes would I have to make before playing in a tournament?

Looks good to me.
The Greatswords are very small, Id get 15 and cut down the handgunners to 10.
Runefang is awesome, but Id get more protection for your Elector Count. Im not sure about the english names of the magic stuff, but the S+2 sword, the 4+ ward save thing and the enchanted shield with full plate is a wonderful combination that will hold off nasty bolts and boulders. In cc he'd still be mighty.
Just a side note: I think in most tournaments you may not go over the point limit. Both of my suggestions would bring you under 2.000 :P
Thanks. It's going to be REALLY hard to part with the runefang but I'll give it a try against my friends. I wouldn't mind adding 5 more greatswords to that regiment and I figured that you had to be under the points limit for the tournaments. Thanks a lot for the help even if it does mean getting rid of the runefang...... :D
