I would like your opinion on whether you would enjoy a historicaly accurate War, or one with differant twists(sometimes major)? I don't want to give anymore away.

My vote goes for the story with the twists. It'd be too difficult to run an accurate one with both elves and dwarfs, and still make it fun to play.

Twists will be good, but it will be difficult to keep under control.
(ie, if my character succeeds then there will be no War of the Beard, as he is trying to stop it. Letting this happen my be a bad idea!)

I say sod history, we should rewrite it! Having to have our characters act by the history books will mean our characters will become less our own. I vote twists!

I have decided that having a historicaly accurate story takes away from the sespense, so the story with the twist is what I will be using from now on.

The historical War of the Beard was already axed when Skinks and Cursed Elves were already in, also when DLJ started worshipping Sigmar :P , Which i wanted to point out but someone else already did.
P.s Ulric is not there also, well he might but i don't think he would be erm.. a god :)

Pretty sure that Ulric is one of the older Gods, worshipped by the erm.... Teutogens? Something like that. One of the old human tribes Sigmar later united.
Anyway who cares, Ulric is a cool God!
