OK, a guy came up to me last night and challanged me to a game. With a bit of a twist, he wants me to make the most abusive skaven army possible. So I want to see what you lot can up with. The game will be against brettonians at 2000pts. I will not say what he has in his army as that will be cheating (in my eyes) although he does have a few flying things.

So lets see what you can come up with.

What about a CSAOD?
2 WLC, loads of small clanrat units, with rattlers and warpfire throwers, a grey seer, 3 warlocks, 40 jezzails, a few slave unit to use the tactic, you hold 'em, I hit 'em!

Most abusive? How ya mean abusive... the best army ever? the best defence, best offence? I take it he means he wants to face the best army ever, well than we got to know what he has its simple math matic to make the best thing you need to know what people want...

To make the best shoe...
what colour do people like, what do they want to feel etc...

The best skaven army or the most even/fair would be a even combanation of each clan.

well skaven will never beat brets taking the charge head on so u will nead loads of rattlers, warlocks and WLC. will he let u take an appendix list then u could get a warlock master then a team of gutter runners to march block.
if he wanted you to make an overpowered list he probably has something to counter it so wel will need to know what type of a player he is....??

You could also use lightning cannons, and against artillery, Gutter runners.

Pffft! You don't need any of those units. Alls you need are ratling guns (at least 3) and it'll do the trick. *shakes head* :wacko: That unit is abusive enough.

In the end I used this army. It worked quite well with the bell saving the day (rolling 2 dice and getting the unit stubborn is very useful).
