Title: Tzeench Marauders
Description: Conversion ideas

Xris - March 25, 2004 12:49 AM (GMT)
Good day everyone. Recently I was thinking about giving my Tzeench mortals a go again so i'm doing some conversions cause the chaos warriors and marauder models are soo damn ugly.

For the Warriors I'm using
Chaos warrior torso and legs
Beastman (Gor?) right arm
Beastman (Gor?) shield
Marauder left arm
Kroot head
I've put some of these models together and they look really good.
Side note: I'm sure what type of beastman parts they are but I'm sure Vriishnak will clear that up because they are/were his parts.

For marauders I'm going to use
Kroot legs, torso and head. The is where i run into problems as i don't know how to model the arms as i want them to be equiped with great weapons. Right now i've got the Kroot arms on with the gun which i've trimmed down but i was thinking i want something that looks more like a 'great' weapon.

The second tricky part is going to be marauder horsemen. I have no idea how i'm going to model these. In the US WD 281 on page in the 'Eavy Metal section there was a page with an army similar to what i'm doing. There were these bipedal mounts for the horsemen but i don't know what model they are. Well I hope to hear everyone's thoughts on this.

Yeah, the arms are from Gors. As to your mounts, I still say ostriches are the way to go. That, or look into whether the models you're talking about are from gorka morka.

If you are using Kroot for Marauders, why not mount them on Cold Ones? It could work.

yeah.... kinda like kroot mercenarys....

Any ideas on how to get the legs onto the Cold Ones and how to make it look faster and possibly bird like? I could probly add a crest out of green stuff which is about my skill level but i don't know what else to do with them.
