It looks pretty solid. Just one question... why don't you have any Warriors of Chaos?
Arch-Seer - May 22, 2003 02:08 AM (GMT)
A) I needed the points
B ) Fluff wise
Moonshadow - May 22, 2003 02:10 AM (GMT)
OK. I can definitely see this army being a challenge for my High Elves :o
Arch-Seer - May 22, 2003 02:15 AM (GMT)
I was surprised I fit that many units in a 2000 point game, where my intention was not to horde.
Drauthnir - May 22, 2003 08:03 PM (GMT)
It does look good. Are your characters with the knights to make two ranks, or are they seperate?
Arch-Seer - May 22, 2003 08:48 PM (GMT)
The Bearer goes with the Knights; the Lord goes alone.
Khrangar - May 23, 2003 12:34 AM (GMT)
It seems like a good, solid army list. I can't fail to see the lack of Warriors though, which is different in a good way. It also seems very character heavy, a little more than I like, but hey, its not my army.
Arch-Seer - May 23, 2003 01:34 AM (GMT)
I was thinking that too. Maybe I should drop a Sorcerer and make just the one a scroll caddy. Then again, that isn't a lot of magic offense, especially with the Lore of Slaanesh(Which I forgot to give the mark to my casters)
LeXXX - May 23, 2003 12:09 PM (GMT)
umm, i think you have to give the aspiring champion a mark of slaanesh before it could have the rapturous standard. It should cost 175 points i think.
And how did the second sorceror reach 170 points?
Just asking cause i really like your list. Where do you plan to put the sorcerors by the way?
Arch-Seer - May 23, 2003 07:19 PM (GMT)
Edited. Thanks for catching my mistakes. The Sorcerers will most likely go behind the Knights and with my Lord.
Drauthnir - May 23, 2003 08:56 PM (GMT)
I think there is a good amount of characters. They can be spread out for maximum slaughter. Those chaos characters are good at that...
Arch-Seer - May 23, 2003 10:02 PM (GMT)
Does anybody want me to post my Tzeentch list, too? It's my variant, and could possibly use some work.
Moonshadow - May 24, 2003 12:16 AM (GMT)
Hmmm... maybe you should just post your Tzeentch army just for fun. :D I'd like to take a look at what you use for Tzeentch anyway. I'm not sure if you can use two different armies in the campaign. But since you're Chaos (the "evil" force in this campaign), maybe it you would be able to.
InvulnerableOne - May 24, 2003 01:10 AM (GMT)
A nice quick army there, but just one question: Are those Daemonettes going to last long? I've never used Daemonettes before so I don't know exactly how good they are but they seem a little weak (One bad combat res and *poof* there they go :( )
Arch-Seer - May 24, 2003 01:29 AM (GMT)
I think that the Aura of Slaanesh will make them awesome flankers for enemy units tied up with the Marauders.
LeXXX - May 24, 2003 01:58 AM (GMT)
Another question, if the Battle Standard Bearer goes with the knights dosent he need a steed?
I noticed that the marauders dont have a command group, can they still manage without them?
Arch-Seer - May 24, 2003 02:09 AM (GMT)
Wow, I made a lot of mistakes on this list. Yes, he is supposed to have a steed(my extra points go to that). The Marauders should be realatively fine, and with the Lord/Demons as flank protecters, they should be set.

I think I should only allow one, but PM me if you want to suggest otherwise.
You do have until the campaign starts to decide which one to use. We still have plenty of time to hammer out details. :)
