Title: SHould dark elf soceresses have more lores?

What do you think? IMO, they should have some more lores, for example, fire and metal. Dark elf were once high elves before and high elf can use all lores, of course we dark elves cant use light heaven and life, but they should be able to use some other lores. Wat do you think?

I do not because we are DARK elves so we should only use evil lores like death :wub: :wub: not high majic :wub: :wub: as the fluff disagrees with it.

Yes, of sorts.
It clearly states in the army book and other fluffy stuff that dark elves use magic to break and mutate beasts.
Personally I think we should have the law of beasts over the lore of shadows, or create a seperate hero that does not have the +1 to cast, is a beast master rules wise and can use the lore of beatsts. Or perhaps allow beast master to be upgrades to a level one wizard for +35pts.
It just seems odd to me that beasts is no one of the laws we can use, yet beasts is quite an important aspect of the DE.

^That's a good point, though I don't think I would use Lore of Beasts anyway. I think death, shadow, and dark are fine choices and fit in very well with DE's offensive theme.

As I know DE have very powerfull sorcerresss, then, I can't understand, why GW made DE sorseress one of the worst wizards in the game.

of course we wont use 'good' magic, but i think we should be able to use neutral lores, doesnt represent good but not bad as well. Also, fire IMO is very offensive so it would suit our offensive theme as well.

I voted yes, because I think that a few more lores would fit in fluff-wise, and also very nice gaming wise.
For example, Lore of Fire. Ok, rules wise, and ok fluff-wise. But as RasputinII said, Lore of Beasts would be very fluffy, and pretty good in terms of gaming.

I think, DE should have lores on metal, fire and beasts too. These lores are neutral, so I don't knowe why DE wouldn't use them:(

It's not about good and evil, or being neutral. It's about the fact that DE live in an icy land, which sort of counters the idea of fire, and have nothing of a specialty in metal.
Beasts wouldn't bother me too much.
