First, you're going to have to tell us what the mark of the snedge is.
Give your warriors great weapons, drop their numbers to 12, and get some hounds to screen for the first turn or two.

Mark of the snedge(1+ power dice) but ive decided not to use it since its gonna be a equal battle
chaos warriors
warhorse
chaos sorcerer
and
marauders are all the models i have. and the great weapons are easily fixed

Okay, 'the snedge' is Tzeentch. Get it right and there'll be much less confusion.
Second, it's going to be a tough fight. Use your marauders as a screen for the warriors, advance as quickly as you can, and keep your sorcerer out of range/firing arc of the handgunners. I really can't stress that enough. If you're within the 24", up to 30 on the first shot, he can be targetted regardless of whether you have other models between.
Basically, he's not going to do much unless you have spells with better range. If you can target the handgunners, do it. They're the biggest threat while you're approaching. If you have a spell that ignores armour, the knights are a good target. Otherwise, your warriors are going to be charged, and while the great weapons might pull down a couple knights, odds are you'll lose the combat without support.

I think vrishnak is right. maybe take a few warriors out and take a great weapon armed aspiring champion of tzeentch s you have some combat. Also use the mrauders as a scree like vrishnak said. But most of all avoid the white wolf knights if you stick to your list as your warriors might lose to them.

wohoo i was massacered because he wanted equal points
next time ill cut out 6 warriors and fry him with my red fire spell
Vriishnak the Twisted - March 2, 2004 08:54 PM (GMT)
It's a pretty reasonable expectation to play games of equal points, the fact that your list is so slow notwithstanding. Add some more speed to your army and you'll find that you do better.

this anger makes me want to find a cheap wrmy or can chaos kill empire later on?
oh yeah by the way the meatshield tactic didn't work
Vriishnak the Twisted - March 2, 2004 09:22 PM (GMT)
Armies are fairly well balanced as a whole, so yes, chaos can beat empire. Your particular list will struggle though, as you have nothing to close with his handgunners and prevent him from shooting your units to oblivion.
As I said, add some fast units and you'll do much better.

and what is your sorceror doing on one loan warhorse. either include some cavalry, or use him as part as your warrior reg.

One thing that is wrong here.
A sorcerer can't be givin a mark of Tzentch.
So you need to change that.
I'd say get a Exalted champion with the Helm of many eyes and a great weapon. Watch th destruction!

page 56/59 of the warhammer armies hordes of chaos book:
May swap the mark of Chaos with the mark of Slaanesh or Nurgle at the price indicated (see p.47) ;)

I'd just like to point out that you're likely to get more and better responses if you make some effort to call things by their actual names. Personally, I find myself disinclined to help when you make up names for things, making it harder for us to comprehend, when you're already asking us to put time into typing out advice.
Just a thought though.
