Usually I'm so impressed with the entire range of Warhammer figures, especially chaos. Sadly though, I was very disappointed by the Lord of Tzeentch. The model is OK, but the fire on the disc...its so flat! Which brings me to my question: can anyone think of way to convert a disc of Tzeentch that isnt the one on that model? I was thinking of using some of the archived disc riders's discs, but I really dont like paying full GW price...also I don't even like those that much. Suggestions, anyone?
Find a suitable disc, and blag some hormagaunt arms from a 40k tyranid players. A friend of mine did it and tit looks great.
That sounds cool! I'm probably going to do a Tzeentch army after I finish my High Elves. I've always thought that the lord on the disc looks really cool, but I've never really seen one outside of the GW pictures...
Finding a disc is easy (the meatl tops of the cardboard tubes they keep whiskey in are great, but maybe a bit large), just make sure to add the arms so they are pointing up, and maybe add some ssorted body parts, it looks awesome. And that way you don't need the expensive GW disc rider, which allows you to buy other troops :D
