I have been woundering since the new bretts came out it jumped to me. Are the Wood Elves allied or not with the Bretts? Please can you tell me.

Yes they can ally, but you can only do this as part of a special scenario, they cannot be used together in say a tournie army.

Of course you don't want to ally with those primititive human savges most of the time ^_^ -_-

I was thinking of them because of their neat charge would strenghten a wood elf force.

I think that Bretonnians don't like WE because they don't like people trying not to get involved directly in fights but that rely on missiles and surprise attacks and WE don't like Bretonnians because they hunt the deers and the animals of the forest :) ....(Trying to give a fluffy reason...)

I always thought that bretts were closest of all the non-elven races to wood elves. Dont they live real close and stuff?

Your right their land is boarded by Loren, they are good friends (well as good as they can be). It started when Gillies the first king of Bretonnia helped the WE defend themselves from the greenskins ravashing the land, from there they have build quite a relationship.

I believe the Kings of Bretonnia have been give passage to the heart of Loren in great times of need, but only if they intend to do no harm to their surroundings.

So yes they get a long, but the WE are just a private race and only really desire to keep their homes free from evil etc.
