I say light horsemen are best, just use them to pick off a few enemy infantry models and then flank charge any units that are fighting my chariots

Why dont you count chariots as cavalry ?. I know there not technically but the tomb kings ones are.
I only take those two as a hidden unit for banner of the hidden dead. I prefer light myself

you are absolutely right, i should have count chariots as cavalry, I just forgot about that because they ar not cavalry base
