All Dark Riders. You should probably add in chariots, cold ones, harpies for more power. Maybe even add in some RBTs and/or a Hydra.

yea chariots are awsome for any army so u should have some of those in there too and the hydras are really good too

not bad
i say u must use cold one knights, and lots. dark riders lack the power to damage any real tough armies (chaos and dwarfs)

You only need a few dark riders in an army and they can be just as devistating(as long as you equip them with repeater crossbows for +6pts/model) Harpies are really good too cause they work well in conjunction with the rest of the army. I havn't got a charoit yet but i'm not sure whether o get one or not, are they very good?

2-3 units of DR should be about right for a 2000 point game, and I don't really think the RXB upgrade would be worth it at all. Give them spears and use them for flank charges.
Harpies are good for hunting warmachines and individual spellcasters, as well as chasing fleeing units, and little else. Less than 8 in an army should serve you fine.
Chariots are good if used in combination with infantry blocks, who provide rank bonus, or with hydras, where they add a lot of kills and make it easier to cause the enemy to break.

Chariots are VERY effective.
Spears can be just as useful as repeater x-bows if you plan all your charges well
A flank charge from the spear armed DRs with a frontal charge from a chariot can break even the toughest enemy

Gruchul and Vriishnak the Twisted are probably the best people to ask about your problems, they really help you out. Cheers guys. :)
